Stays put and hidden
These are awesome! They definitely stay put. I have forgotten to take one or two out at night and they are still in place in the morning. The color is perfect, I bought the blonde color. You cannot see them. I wish they sold a pack of just the small size.

These actually work!
I was searching for a product that would hold hair in place for hair that was thin or thick. I have thin hair and my daughter's have regular and thick hair and both of them have hair to their waist. Not an easy challenge to find something that works in all hair types. I find it very uncomfortable to have multiple bobby pins in my hair to keep it in place and over time they start to really bother me and I can't wait to get home and get them out of my hair. With my daughter's hair it was almost impossible to get there hair to stay in place with regular bobby pins, no matter how many I used. These pins are fabulous! They actually work. I can do an updo on my own hair with about 3 pins and it stays in place all day. I recently styled my daughters hair for prom and she was able to dance the night away and her hair stayed perfectly in place. They are a great value for the money and can be reused endlessly. I have used these pins so many times I have lost count and they look just a good as when I first bought them. The flocking does not wear off and holds hair in place.

French hair pins
Amazing! I use them to secure a bun. They are flocked, so they do not move! They hold like no other hair pin. I am tossing my old bobby pins, for good!Highly recommend

Nice French pins, I admit.
Part of me wanted to dislike these, because l felt they were overpriced for what they are, especially at around $15 USD for 20 pins…so that’s .75 PER pin. I could get other pins for about .02 each, so that feels outrageously expensive. However, I had difficulty finding French pins in the size I wanted that are similar to my hair color, which is sort of a golden-honey blonde. Gold and rose gold pins are still noticeable, but the “blonde” Frenchies are an excellent match, and disappear into my hair. If you are a platinum blonde or an ash blonde, they wouldn’t be a great match. These do also seem more comfortable than regular pins, because if they inadvertently touch your scalp, they are fuzzy instead of hard metal. If you have fine, straight hair, as I do, the flocking gives them a little more “grip,” and they are less prone to sliding out than metal pins.So I’m keeping them. And will probably order them again in the future when these inevitably break or get lost, but I’ll still grumble about the price.

Holds the hair well. I love the 2 sizes.

These pins hold hair all day.
This is a reorder for me because I am constantly giving my frenchies to people to try. I have fine hair and every other hair clip, pin, or accessory slips after a while. Not these frenchies. Wherever I put them, my hair stays all day. Amazing.

Great hair pins but velvet rubs off
These are great hair pins and I like that they come in 2" sizes (it's quite difficult to find small hair pins). They are also stiff, which I prefer over the flexible ones and they absolutely do stay in place (which is wonderful!). However, they are expensive and the velvet flocking only lasts two or three wears. This is great if you only do an updo once or twice, but I pin my hair up daily. Once the flocking wears off, I continue to use them, but they no longer have good staying power. So, I think the idea is great but they are priced too high for how long they last as "flocked" hairpins.

Worth it
Yes expensive but worth it. I haven't had any issues with peeling. According to the reviews the peeling happens when you have wet hair. You definitely shouldn't use this with wet hair seeing as it has a velvet texture.I've used so many hair pins. This is the very best, no slip at all they are also comfortable, no pain or scalp stabbing.I have dark brown hair and wanted to get the brown but they looked like they had a red tint, more of an auburn. I wish they had more natural colors to choose from. I ended up getting the black.Overall good product
