Maofuxing Kerdi 38" x 60" Shower Tray Center Drain Placement 1-1/8" Perimeter Height

I've used Kerdi twice now and have been extremely pleased both times. Most recently I replaced the entire tray in our stand up shower because the original contractors were idiots and didn't know how to properly install a drain. I did have to cut this tray to fit our custom base. I used a sturdy utility knife ( razor ) to cut through the super thick styrofoam. In my application I actually had to cut the tray smaller than the finished product in order to be able to get it in correctly. I was then able to use the pieces that I had cut off to then fill the gap between the tray and the wall. As long as you cover the seam with curdy paper this is a feasible solution should you even accidentally cut too much of your tray. Overall, I'm very happy with the end result and would certainly recommend it to anyone considering doing this type of job themselves.

Easy to install.

Been using Schluter products for years. It's a great system. These shower pans are way easier than doing a mud bed and are easily cut for custom installations. The price is well worth the ease of installation and quality. Highly reccomend

Had to use this to center on my drain un concrete floor. It works much easier on a plywood floor where you can get to it from underneath. If you center your drain up it works awesome just like all the kerdi products. Watch the install videos on youtube.

I used this in order to reduce the dead load on our already weak floors. Placed on top of a doubled sub floor and used mud deck to contour it with the rest of the wet area
