So I got this today, unlike the other two reviewers, I didn't really have a problem.I'm used to switching out the faucet heads to sinks due to tank water changes so I had no problem with that. It took the lights a second to come on but they came on just fine. There is a delay when they change between one color and another, so I did find being patient was worthwhile. The one reason I would "dock" a star is due to how the light dims if less water is coming out, I felt like I either had to turn the water on fully (especially the first time) or the light would be very weak.I hope as they improve this, they will fix that one aspect but otherwise it works as expected and for such a cheap price, is pretty fun

Good for kitchen, just understand a few things.
Two reasons I didn't give it five stars. The red doesn't kick in until it the water gets pretty hot. Not a big deal, unless you have a toddler who thinks that red is the only time the water is hot. Not really a problem of the unit, which works as advertised and was easy to install, but of perception. It makes the faucet extend a little further down than I'm used to (it's not ideal for shallow sinks like the bathroom). Finally, the opening is a little smaller than our normal faucet screen. As a result, the water comes out a little harder than it used to. Good for rinsing syrup off a plate, but it does splash quite a bit. Oh, and it's not good if you like to stick your head under the faucet and grab a drink after you get back from running. But hey, it works, works well, is easy to install and is liked by our toddler.

I've seen the light!
So far so good. It does require the water to be on almost full blast to work but it's understandable since it runs on water power. It definitely stayed blue until the water finally warmed, which takes a while in my main bathroom, and then it glowed green. Turned the cold back on and in a few seconds it went back to blue. It's exactly what I expected and so far I'm happy. I hate shaving or washing my hands with cold water and this will definitely help me from running the water too long while i wait to get a warm stream.

a fun toy
fun little toy, easy to put on my faucet, the colors do work but needs a good stream of water. Do NOT use to guess at temperature for sensitve skin, When my unit turns green the water is the temperature i would use in the shower. When the red light comes on my water will not get any hotter. If you have kids make sure they turn the water off when done, this is not a night light :)

Works as advertised. However, if you have low water pressure, their might not be enough "power" generation to supply IllumiSink. My hot water line in the kitchen has fluctuating water pressure and therefore the IllumiSink does not work all the time. I verified that the issue lies with my water supply and not the faucet attachment itself.

Wanted to love it, but sprays water everywhere
I love my Illuminiwl and this sounded like a great and fun product. And in some ways, it is. It attached easily to my bathroom faucet. It indeed turns blue, green, or red depending on the water temperature, and it responds fairly quickly to changes in temperature. The problem is that the light only works when the water is turned on nearly full force, and in that mode, the aerator that is used in the device sends out jets of water which bounce off the sink with great force and soak everything within three feet of the sink. Not only does that waste a lot of water, but it makes a mess (including a mess of whatever clothes you’re wearing.)I do like the idea, and I understand that the need to generate electricity via a small turbine may require higher water flow than one might prefer, but for me' it makes the Illumisink pretty unusable in a real life setting. I am pretty sure I’ll have had to remove the device by the end of the week, it’s already annoying the heck out of me.

Excellent prodict!
The Illumisink is such a great product! Nonmore guessing if your water is the right temperature. And no more searching for the soap dispenser in the dark late at night. The Illumisink gives off a nice glow in the dark so I don't have to blind myself at night just to wash my hands. Love it!!

Belongs in the toilet with the IllumiBowl
Great idea, unfinished execution. As an mostly happy owner of 3 IllumiBowls (I have Gen 1s, so they fall off frequently), I'm completely disappointed. The product doesn't really do anything it's supposed to correctly: - Light often is not the right color for the water temperature. Mainly this problem is on the hot side (i.e. green for *really* hot water). - Light is incredibly slow to respond to changes in water temperatures. Usually requires shutting off and on water to get a change, even then often does not change appropriately. - Light requires high water pressure to turn on at all. It's livable (but not optimal) on a kitchen sink, but on a bathroom sink it won't come on for anything but the faucet opened up all the way aka full blast. As (hopefully) no one but my 6-year-old washes their hands this way, it makes the product completely useless for bathroom sinks. - Water aerating pattern (how the spray looks and performs) is highly splash-prone. A decent amount of water sprays out of the sink with this product that didn't previously. - Did not seal properly on one faucet - water leaked from the product screw-in area. I wasn't able to screw the product in very far, so that could've been the problem, but the old aerator didn't leak when I put it back in. - Did not fit one faucet at all - female screw threads on faucet were too large for product. Obviously they can't make a one-size fits all, so I can easily forgive this one, but perhaps include or sell a different version with a different adapter.
