It does what it's supposed to, just didn't need it for more than a week. It helped during that time to keep our bathroom from being opened when in use in our house while we fixed a door that couldn't be closed.

Nice vacancy cards, sturdy not flimsy
The media could not be loaded. Sturdy cards, they aren't flimsy and they should hold up for quite awhile. We use them to let us know when the room is occupied as we've had incidents where a porter was unsure and walked in on a guest with embarrassing results.

Bends easily at the top
Use these on single-person bathrooms. The top of the sign bends easily if used rough. Doesn’t work as well with door handles— have to put vacancy side facing you in order to have the opposite side showing, & vice versa. Overall, they’re very convenient.
