Calvin KleinWomen's Lightweight Chevron Quilted Packable Down Jacket

Ordered size L and it fits perfectly for 5'5", 142 lbs. So lightweight, not bulky at all but I know this will keep me warm. Planning to bring this for spring hike.

The jacket is quite soft and comfortable. I wish it was hooded, as it would be more attractive.

I bought this jacket to wear on a trip to Europe where we would be visiting castles one day, running around theme parks on another, and strolling through city streets. Added complication? Temps that would swing between high 40's-60 during the day and in the 30's at night. A little wind, a tiny bit of rain. This. Coat. Was. Perfect. I bought it a bit large to accommodate layers when needed, and it was comfortably warm without ever being too hot. I was quite skeptical wearing it initially (they said it would keep me warm below 20 degrees... sure it would)... but the warmth surprised me for a jacket so lightweight. It did what they promised. I was never cold. We also did a TON of walking and I didn't get sweaty wearing it. It nips in a bit at the waist, which kept it from looking bulky and added feminine flair.The jacket packed down like a dream in my luggage as every ounce and square inch counts with today's baggage limitations... This baby (which comes with a case to hold it) also squished like a champ in my medium sized handbag. Buying one for my Mom to wear during her daily walks around the neighborhood.Only complaint? I packed two coats (remember, skeptic) and had to wear the bulkier one to make room for my purchases in my luggage on the trip home. It was so hot and bulky and I hated it. (That coat was my former weird weather European trip love, which I only wore 1 day this time.)

I like it! Its warm, definitely lightweight, and feathers aren't popping out like some of the other Calvin Klein down jackets I've had. Though some of the other calvin klein jackets ive had from macys seem to be a lot more "premium" as they felt like they had more feathers and warmth and softness in them even though this jacket was labeled as "premium lightweight down" as well. Seems like the quality of calvin klein jackets went down so minus half a star for that. I got a size xxs, for reference, I am 5'4 118 lbs with dimensions 32 26 35 and it is still loose enough for me to wear an american apparel hoodie underneath. One thing I would like is for the sleeves to be a bit longer, they're a bit too short for me and sleeves tend to ride up, minus half a star for that.. It says 7° warmth factor, not sire if that is really true but I get 45° winters and I'm still warm. I also ride a motorcycle and this jacket keeps me warm on the freeway with that chilly wind going at 75mph. I also got a silver one, the picture on the model makes it look titanium and shinier but when I received it, it's actually a more dark charcoal color. No biggie for me though.

I bought this to wear on top of my fleece zip up on a hiking trip and wanted the option to pack it away if it got too warm. It came in very handy when the temperature dropped to the 30s and 40s, and I would pack it away and just use my fleece when the temperature rose to the mid 50s or 60s. I got many complements on it. It fits nicely and does not take up a lot of space when you need to pack it away. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it sheds feathers, which would end up on whatever shirt I was wearing with it.

This is a cute jacket that fit most of my needs. No hood--I didn't want one. Cute color. Soft and light weight but warm. Interior pockets. And I love the chevron style in the back which is very flattering. I ordered an XS and I can wear whatever I want underneath (I am just under 5'4", weight about 114 lbs, large bust at 32DD). My only complaint is a big one--no zippered pockets (description says hidden zippered pockets--I notified Amazon of the error). This really is a big issue because the exterior pocket opening goes all the way down to the bottom of the pocket, so anything you put in there will fall out. The two things I would put in a zippered pocket are my cell, cash, and sunglasses. Even if you use the interior pocket, they could fall out if you are carrying your jacket over your arm like when you enter a building/restaurant and want to remove your jacket. I'm hoping to find a way to secure the inner pocket without also causing issues during washing. I would not buy this jacket again without at least one large secure pocket.

The look of the jacket is just as the image. My issues were that it wasn't warm enough for the fall, and the sleeves were too short. I have never had this problem with any other outerwear before. I have pretty standard limbs, so i found it rather weird.Everytime i wear it, i have my sweater sleeves out ... i dont know.
