JINGLING 4 inch 100mm Diamond Flat Lap Disc Grinding Disk Arbor 5/8 Grit 80 Coarse

I got this to sharpen my tungsten on my tig welder. I am not a good tig welder yet so I am constantly buggering up my tungsten. Works great so far. Have ground a full tungsten stick to almost gone 1/4” at a time. Disc seems to be holding up, no signs of wear.It would be nice if the edge had diamonds, it is smooth so when I really get globbed up I have to grind it square all the way past the contamination which is slow. No side cutters to score and snap but it sharpens very nice on the 320 grit

Saw this item recommended by a YouTuber for sharpening TIG tungsten. So far so good. The quality of your point is up to you but I'm not about to spend $100 when this works just fine.Grinding both sides of your tungsten is a good idea for learners like myself. That way you can just swap end for end and keep dipping in that puddle!Update 8/8/23Just sharpened a new pack of tungsten’s. 20 new points and 4 regrinds. The disk has collected a little metal dust but looks good as new.

This wheel does not lock perfectly on a 4-1/2” grinder but will fit if you center and tighten the nut down. The wheel works great to sharpen tungsten electrodes. The higher the grit the finer the electrode grind marks are.

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve bought a few discs now for my friends that I work with and they love them too. I haven’t used a better feeling disc for sharpening tungsten for this price!

Mounted this disk on a 4" grinder to sharpen tungstens to a proper point for TIG welding. Got the idea from a YouTube video. A lot better than using a bench grinder.

I bought this to grind a tip on my TIG rods. Put it on an el cheapo HF grinder, and it works great.This puts a very nice angle on the rod and is extremely fast.Just a tip to using it. Chuck your rod in a drill, and spin it as fast as you can. DO NOT try to hold the rod in your fingers to spin it. You will NOT like the results. (Burning flesh is not pleasant).

Compre este disco para afilar los dientes de mis discos sierra para madera y si funciona me saco del apuro de llevarlos a afilar, regresar por ellos, etc; pero talvez por falta de conocimiento lo desgaste rápido, sigue afilando pero es más como herramienta auxiliar no sustituye al afilado profesional
