Good Quality Soap, Lathers Well with Washcloth, Pleasant, Soft Aroma, Many Broken during Shipping!
These Aqua Organics Cleansing Bars are packaged in an attractive sealed pack that is easy to open. The soap is a hard, round disc that produces a medium lather, is easy to hold on to, does a very good job of cleaning and has a mild, pleasant (nonspecific) fragrance. After the first use, I laid the disc down flat on the edge of my sink without drying the water off. The next day the soap was a bit soft on the back in the middle but was not a melted mess. These are fairly thin bars. I expected to be throwing away melted remains. There was a small amount of wet soap on the bottom of the disc, but it still had life left. I washed my hands again with the soap for quite some time making sure to test how much the soap lathered: very adequately. Then I laid the soap disc in a two-level soap dish with a gridded top (to allow the soap to dry) and a base to catch any drips. The next morning the soap was dry, firm and still had a lot of use remaining. This soap performs best when a soap dish that allows the soap to dry after use is provided.Using only the soap disc against the skin (during a bath) did not produce much lather and the soap is hard. For use with a washcloth this soap creates a bountiful lather that does a great job of cleaning and leaves the skin feeling very soft. The performance of this soap is superb especially compared to some more expensive soaps that I have used. Now, The Negative: There are a lot of broken bars of soap in my box. Broken soap: throw it in the trash. There is not a single thing that I can do with a broken disc of soap besides throw it away. Whoever buys this soap in bulk is literally throwing away .15 cents per package of broken soap. Every 6 broken soaps represent a dollar that the customer is throwing in the trash. Sixty broken soaps represent a $10 loss plus the wasted time having to go through the soap, throw the broken bars in the trash and carry out the trash. This is totally unacceptable. This soap needs to be better packaged with padding for protection.Unfortunately, the bars being broken is why this is a four-star review. Otherwise, this soap is a very good product, but I cannot recommend purchasing the soap when half of the discs may have to be thrown in the trash.

Small, very long-lasting bars of soap; look great, lather nicely & rinse well + clean scent...
These are really nice bars of soap -- they are the perfect size for just a few uses, but they are round so they are easy to handle, lather well and smell great. The scent is not overwhelming at all. It is light and refreshing and doesn't linger too long. I am not any good at identifying fragrance notes, but I can definitely make out the lemongrass, and maybe the aloe, although I can't parse out the honey that is also one of the ingredients (I just know the scent is very pleasant). The individual bars are small discs with a rounded, fairly deep circular indentation on one side (so they look like a bit like a saucer on that side) and a shallow circular indentation on the other side that has a pretty embossed leaf in the center. The bars are just under 2" in diameter and about 1/4" thick. Each one weighs 1/2 ounce.I like this soap. I wash my hands so many times a day that I usually have very dry, cracked skin. This soap produces a soft, bubbly lather that rinses away easily and it doesn't seem to contribute to even more dryness. In fairness, I do slather my hands with hand cream often. I have also tried this in the shower, and I find it leaves my skin clean and lightly scented. The soap is a creamy white in color. The texture is smooth and the bars are fairly hard so they are quite long-lasting and don't bend and break or tend to just melt away during use as has been the case with some softer bar soaps I have tried. I haven't even used up the first bar I tried; I can still see the leaf! I have been using it at the kitchen sink and have washed my hands many times, and so have other family members.I estimate that if I am the only one using the soap to wash my hands, one bar will easily last a week. In the shower, perhaps three days before it is just a sliver...Each bar is attractively packaged in an easy to open plastic bag -- the kind that has the serrated top and bottom edges so they tear open with no fussing around.I ordered the carton of 1000 bars of soap. They arrived packed into four smaller boxes inside of a large sturdy box. I didn't check every single bar, but I did look at quite a few of them and there was no breakage. The ingredients of the soap aren't shown on the little packets or on the smaller inside boxes, but here the are from the outer box:Sodium palmate, fatty acids, sodium salts, organic olive oil/olive oil/palm oil, sodium chloride (as NaCl), glycerin, butylate hydroxytoluene, organic aloe vera extract, organic honey, lemongrass fragranceI don't own a rental property but these soap bars seem to be of good quality and I think they would satisfy most individuals. I think they would be a very economical choice. I am just using this bar soap for my own household, but I am very happy to have it and everyone in the family likes it. The sizing of this soap seems to be designed for use as a hand soap but it is so long-lasting that I think it works well as a body soap, too. My daughters can are a bit finicky and prefer their favorite shower gels, but my husband and I often use this in the shower and so does my granddaughter. I also think several unwrapped soaps placed on a dish look really pretty and give the bathroom a nice scent, too. I've stocked the showers and sinks in both bathrooms as well as the kitchen with this soap and I'm sure I have enough to last a long time!

Pretty, but not high quality
Aqua Organics Cleansing Bar, Travel Size Beach Hotel Amenities, 0.5 oz (Case of 1000)First impressions matter - and this comes in a pretty bag with words like "organic, health, no artificial colors" . The top of the bar has a stamped image of a eco-friendly leaf. It's a small bar - which is great for the one or two days that guest need something - without having to throw too much away when they leave. As for the soap bar... it produces a good amount of lather and feels somewhat moisturizing. But it is gritty feeling and very heavy scented. It's made in China. I just don't trust that the ingredients are what it says on the label. It's not a high quality soap.So it may make an OK impression because of the wrapper, but it's not a high quality soap. But a lot of guests probably won't notice.

Convenient and useful
The lather is nice. Although they're small, they seem to still get a few good uses out of them. I also set them at the sink as a hand soap. They have parfume, so if that's something you or your guests are sensitive to, you may not want it. It has a strong scent.Although the item listing says 'Made in USA', the product indicates that it was made in China.I like that I can toss them in my bag to go to the gym or when I have to stay somewhere other than my home. They're not something I would want to use on a daily basis, but they're convenient away from home.I don't feel that these are high quality, but they don't seem bad either.
