Great for initial grinding of large or really dull and chipped cutting surface. Haven't had it long enough to comment on longevity but I like it so far.

If like me, you want to do split points or sharpen larger drill bits in a timely manner this will work well for you. The stock wheel isn’t aggressive enough especially for split points. It’s easy to change. The machine itself has some limitations but I’m turning out decent split points by actually reprofiling (?) those cobalt and steel drill bits from Home Depot with the weird pilot point(after I’ve wrecked them). Apparently it’s not a true split point but it works for me.

Make sure it will fit the machine you’re buying it for, it would not fit the one I have. drill sharpener.

great diamond wheel, works great on small SDS masonry bits up to 1/2 inch. the price is great. will buy again

The DD-80 Fits the 750 Drill Dr. just like the one that came with the machine. I use the 80 grit wheel on the larger bits and those that are really worn down, to remove material faster. I have about 1,000 drills. I sharpen about a dozen a day and know I will always have a sharp drill on hand when I need it.
