I have used this sauce for over 40 years. Being a southerner, especially the eastern areas near the beach, this Vinegar based sauce takes all the work out cooking pork and leaves you with no vinegary tase in your mouth when smoked properly. Injection of the Sauce gets the taste to be somewhat systemic and when the pork is done, its nothing short of amazing. I also use a rub that's famous on the shores of eastern North Carolina where vineger based B.B. sauce is preferred. Not to be construed with mustard or catsup-based sauces. Slow smoke, and Carolina Treet will make you the king of the road when served to your friends.

I have been using this sauce since 1984 and I still have found nothing that is as good for chicken or pork, I use it in combination with other sauces that are too sweet. I use it to grille wings or to finish ribs It's great as a marinade and just as it says on the label as a cooking sauce. I discovered Carolina Treet while on vacation in South Carolina in 1984 but could not find it my home state of Maryland so I had to stock up anytime I traveled through or beg my friends to pick some up for me on their trips south. The last few years I have ordered it directly from their web site. So I am glade that Amazon can send it to me and so are my friends..

This has been our favorite for over 35 years. Glad to see them on Amazon Prime!

Childhood memories of this product.

The sauce is perfect and delicious. However They need to learn how to better protect their product for transport. This is the gross mess we got today. And Amazon will not replace or return it. Totally unfair.
