The Midnight Folk: The enchanting illustrated tale perfect for young readers ages 10+ : Masefield, John, Blake, Quentin: desertcart.ae: Books Review: Bought this as a Christmas present along with a few other items. No issues at all with the items themselves, however not at all impressed with the delivery of the product. Found this in my bin along with some other items, didn't even know they were there because there was no card at all posted through the door. Only realised when I went and looked at my account and it said that they had been delivered to the receptionist. Review: Finished these classic fantasy novels, just in time to enjoy the 1984 ‘The Box of Delights’ production on iPlayer with my son, in the run up to Christmas. It was fun spotting all the details that have obviously inspired many modern and contemporary fantasy novels.

The author also wrote The Box of Delights. This children's book suffers from a lack of editing and an uncorrected manuscript. One for hard core fans. Nice illustrations.

I didn't realise when I bought the book that there are no chapters - just a stream of text for about 300 pages. Also, the language is very dated, which makes it difficult to read. In spite of that, it's still an interesting story.
