Vehicle Safety Manufacturing 905 Black Universal Turn Signal Switch with 11-Wire Connection Harness

This turn signal unit is SOLID and made of cast metal, works with a nice heavy 'click' that lets you know that you've actuated it, and is easy to install. The dimmer on the stalk gets the floor dimmer out of the equation and gets the headlight wiring out of harm's way, which is a HUGE bonus in my book.Fit on my '65 Jeep Gladiator's ancient steering column and replaced the OEM Unobtanium turn signal unit so I can 'signal my intentions' with confidence, PLUS it added 4-way flasher capability which wasn't there with the old setup, which is great! Finish is a bit industrial, but in my case that's perfectly fine. because that is the vibe I was going for, but if you're into flawless mirror-like chrome this isn't your unit. Nevertheless, this is a fine addition to your grouchy old truck, Jeep, or other vehicle if you need turn signal capability. The dimmer works beautifully and the 4-way lever cancels with the turn signal, You do not get turn signal lights with this particular unit, but that's no biggie.

Ordered this VSM-905 turn signal switch. The first 3 photos above are of the first delivery. The box was labeled for the correct switch, but inside was something totally different. Ordered a replacement, and the last 3 show that switch...wrong again in the the correct box! Ended up using the second, which is a VSM-920, a GOOD QUALITY HEAVY DUTY turn signal switch with hazard feature and a horn button on the end.

Switch worked great for a while, then it became intermittent and finally it stopped working. The Horn was the only part that kept working. I liked the design and installation was straight forward, but it was no good when it quit working.
