I have 8 children in school that all needed clear backpacks. I bought several different styles because my kids don't want to look cookie cutterish when they leave the house. All of the other backpacks wore out about halfway through the school year. This is the only one still useable. In fact it still looks brand new! My oldest son is a Junior in High School and he was the lucky one that got to use this backpack. His younger brother in 7th grade begged me to buy him one because his other brand backpack broke within 2 months. All my kids are hoping I buy them this backpack for next year!

First of all, I would never have purchased such an item because-- who wants a plastic backpack? Ugh, it is sad that as a matter of safety, my kid has to have a clear backpack to go to school. That being said, this backpack is sturdy and lasted an entire year of bus rides and middle school life without any major damage...its a win.

My son started middle school this year and the district requires kids to bring either mesh or clear plastic bag.I reviewed both types of bags and decided plastic was our best bet.His bestie’s plastic backpack (another brand) bit the dust halfway through the school year.My son’s backpack is still doing fairly well and should last the school year for us. He has some tiny holes and the mesh drink holders are shot, but overall it’s doing fairly well for a plastic backpack.

Used for a day trip. Held many items for both me and child, didn't need to bring 2 separate bags for each of us.

i purchased this for my teenage son. The high school security requires students to use clear see through backpacks. But this backpack is not strong enough to carry heavy books.
