I got this around 5/12 and started using it this week. I often leave my desk at work (sometimes mid thought) and used to return to cold tea or coffee from 20 min ago, but this thing is awesome. Cord is pretty short and it has a roller-switch and a little light when its on. It warms the bottom of your mug significantly, a little too warm to touch right at the bottom so stick to the handle or the rim to hold your mug but it keeps my drink perfectly toasty. Actually, as the liquid decreases it gets warmer as there is less to heat up so the bottom half of my drink is usually warmer than it had been to start! But I switch it off usually at that point and just leave it standing on the pad. Im brave enough to have tried a thick paper cup this morning from starbucks and while i wouldn't advising walking away from it while paper is on it, while im sitting here typing it, the cup is very warm but not burning at all. All in all, Im quite satisfied! Would recommend!

I selected this warmer because of its slightly larger size compared to most warmers. Fits my large mugs very well. It keeps my coffee and tea nice and warm. Not as hot as coffee directly from the coffee maker, but still, plenty warm. I only wish the switch was on the unit instead of on the cord. The price was reasonable too. Nice to have black or white to choose from. I have several warmers around the house now and it's so convenient. Just simple thing, but really nice.

I rarely have a poor purchase from Amazon, and this purchase is one of my favorites! I have a bad habit of typing more than drinking sometimes in the morning and found myself sipping ice cold coffee as I sifted through the day's business. Well, no more! My warmer keeps my coffee at just the right temperature. It especially keeps the last half or last third warm enough to drink so no getting up to reheat or pour again to heat. The cord is a little short for me to comfortably reach as it is on my left side of my couch on the coffee table, and I am right handed. This is so easily fixed by a short extension cord, it is no problem. The orange light is really noticeable when on, so no forgetting about turning it off asyou walk past should you forget. This was a little, simple purchase, but a joyful one!! Life's simple pleasures!!

This mug warmer had been a life saver as a new Mom. I hardly ever get to drink my coffee when it is still warm, but not any more! Now my coffee stays nice and warm until my little settles enough for me to drink it. I think a mug warmer is a must have for new parents. I will also be able to take it to work with me once maternity leave is over. Great purchase!!Update: I was just using my mug warmer which was set up about 1 foot away from me and my infant daughter. Had in on for about 30 minutes when suddently a huge pop and flash came from the device! I think it was the indicator light bulb bursting. Not sure why or how this happened, had the device connected to an extension cord, maybe this was the cause?The whole thing was terrifying. Will not recommend or buy again.

I have a love-hate relationship with this warmer. It does a really great job at keeping my coffee warm, but the plastic casing that holds the dial-like switch to turn the warmer on and off is very weak! It cracked just a few weeks after I purchased it and since then I've had to tape the plastic casing so that the warmer even turns on. I don't know how it could have cracked so easily sitting at a work desk, I certainly was always gentle around it.

Ordered on 03/08/18 and received 03/11/18. I'm handicapped and like to keep a cup of hot coffee next to me. I tend to drink it slowly, so it would normally cool down before finishing it. I wanted something to keep my coffee hot rather than making several trips to the microwave to reheat it, which is hard on my back. The mug warmer works great. I turn it on and my coffee stays hot until I turn it off, which can be several hours later. I was worried that my large 10 oz "Life is Good" mugs might be too large to fit on the heating pad, but they fit no problem. We liked the warmer and it's price well enough that my husband asked me to order him one also.

I bought this after building my desk and I love it. I'm a writer so I can sit for hours at a time working on a paper or an article. My favorite thing is to have a cup of coffee or tea next to me when I work. Only problem is I can get sucked into my computer and my drink will be cold by the time I remember there is an outside world. Heart breaking really. I saw this item and figured I'd give it a try and now I can't imagine my desk without it I let it warm up while making my hot drink. It will keep my drink warm for hours. Very happy with this purchase overall!
