Island hopping setup
I got it for a multi week island hopping trip. One of big needs was the ability to store my 23 inch fins inside. It's a tiny bit too small for that, but since it has a cavernous main compartment I can still pack them although you can find bulging out a little. One minor complaint is about the rain cover. I wish it was detachable or there was a dedicated pocket at the bottom of the bag (like Eagle Creek has). The only way here to get cover hidden is to crunch it up behind the lumbar support. I'm sure it ultimately impacts the longevity of the cover itself and it makes lumbar padding bulge a little.Other than that it's a perfect bag that gulps up everything and can take a beating.

Poorly designed
Everyone has their personal preferences, but I find the layout and storage capacity to be underwhelming, and the fact that the rain cover has to be tucked behind the backpack straps is uncomfortable. I didn't bother taking it on my recent trip, it's too late to return it, so I will probably donate it to a local charity.

Great travel backpack
I took this bag on a two week trip to Europe and it worked great. I packed it to it’s limit, without expanding it, and had no problems using it as a carry on. I didn’t have to check it once. It was easy and comfortable to carry. I would recommend it. I like the built in rain cover and the ability to stow the straps.

The bag is great for what it is but it’s not for me
I like the bag because of the simplicity and ease of use. I however find that this bag fits less than the Osprey Farpoint 40L and Cotopaxi Allpa 32L despite it can hold at the max 45L. In addition, the fabric material and strap support is not comfortable at all. It feels like the backpacks you get at conventions.

Perfect carry-on
This is ideal for a carry-on piece of luggage. Has more structure than just a duffel, but not as rigid as a suitcase. The backpack straps are very comfortable, the water bottle holder is terrific, and especially noteworthy is the laptop compartment!

Great for short or long trips
Great for short or long trips. Color is prettier in real life and the clamshell opening is easy to use. I do wish the shoulder straps were wider for more comfort
