Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Jonathan Hickman's writing style shines in this bizarre clash of comics, high-end sci-fi, intrigue, drama and action that makes it incredibly hard to put down, despite many times not fully understanding the scope of Hickman's narrative. With a star studded cast of heroes, villains and tweeners the Avengers/New Avengers Incursions Saga comes to an shocking end, full of cliffhangers and leading directly into Hickman's Secret Wars, the culmination of his Avengers run.To fully understand and follow this terrific narrative arc, please be sure to have read Hickman's Avengers up to #34, New Avengers up to #23 and all of his Infinity (#1-6).

This book was so good. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. When I started reading, I could hardly put the book down. This was one of the first books where I actually got the goosebumps from reading. The story is really well done. It is easy to tell Hickman put a lot of work into this. There are many artist throughout the book, all of which add to the story as a whole.

I consider this part 2 of Hickman's epic space opera of life, death and rebirth and how good people will do terrible things to protect what they hold dear. This is the final leg of Hickman's run on Avengers and New Avengers leading up to Secret Wars. My favorite part of this is everything involving Black Panther and Namor and the battle of Wakanda and Atlantis. This is a must read if you want to understand more of what's happening in ANAD Marvel and must read if you love epic and layered story telling.

Hickman's run is THE comic book series, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. But Time Runs Out is... eh. It's very patchy and entirely too long. If it wasn't necessary for the transition from new avengers to secret wars I would pretend it didn't exist.The actual book itself arrived fine.

Hickman blows my mind with this multiverse-wide catastrophe (feels awkward saying crisis with marvel) and all the while opening new worlds up and setting up secret wars perfectly!

Good book. I've read many marvel books and omnibus'. It was a little confusing. Which world you're in. Also, was Steve Rogers young in"Standoff" made old again?

Should really read this before Secret Wars.
