Nero

If you like history,and need to learn about Nero, read this book. The downside is the print was quite small, but I managed to read it without glasses. Others might find it difficult.The story of the Julian-Claudian line of Roman rulers needs to be read from start to finish. Begin with Augustus and end with Nero. It is quite a ride.Spoiler: After Nero was killed, they were all dead. An amazing story.

I learned a lot. Despicable man from a long line of despicable family. Kind of dry which having read a ton of nonfiction I know is unnecessary. Also had glaring omissions as it pertains to Nero's well known persecution of Christian's. Not sure why the author completely left that out.

This is a play and is hardly readable. I didn't finish it.

An exceptional read. Especially for someone who may not think they like history.I found this interesting enough I've searched for other works by this author/publisher.

A good basic history. Written in simple terms. Includes many moral judgments.
