These feel very flimsy...but they're not 'bad' if you take care of them and protect them from damage (doh!). The light is absolutely excellent. Very bright and very white, which is what I want to see when I'm soldering or working on the Corvette in the garage. Caveat Emptor ...I haven't yet tried daisy chaining them together, but it doesn't look complicated or of any particular concern.I'm using these to remodel/renovate a house that does not have ceiling fixtures in any of the bedrooms or rooms like family, living, etc. However, they do have switched outlets and these are great for that purpose. I later plan to move these to the garage and the basement/laundry room and other places where a relatively obnoxious hanging 'shoplight' won't be an issue.These are light and easy to hang. The supplied materials are very easy to work with and seem adequate for the task without being cheap.The pull chain seems sturdy. I'd probably invite neanderthal man to "please pull gently."Definitely a lot of light and very bright/white, which is what I want for my work areas.

I order the 6 pack and hung them in my garage. They are very nice and bright. Unfortunately, one of the lights does not work. Must have received one defective light. I emailed the seller hoping to send the broken one back for a working one. I imagine this occurs with many products not just this item/seller. Overall I am happy. I will be happier if I can get the broken one replaced.

Bought these lights for my 24X40 shop with 10" ceilings. I currently have the commercial electric leds from Home Depot in there now. Installed those at a cost of $62.00/ea. I have 20 of them as I do alot of custom builds and paint work and there is always a shadow no matter what. The CE's started to fail within 6 months of install (they're now 2 years old and were supposed to last 50,000 hrs). Needless to say, not a happy camper. So, long story short, looked around and decided on these. They are a no frills, get the job done, led light. Put 10 of them in a day ago, and compared to the CE's that are still working, Much whiter light, and don't generate the heat like the CE does. I did 10 in one bay and am so satisfied, I'm dong the rest of the shop in them, so, 20 more. As always, only time will tell of their life span, but for $14.80 per light after tax, I can accept a failure alot easier. Yes, they're flimsy and weigh nothing, but they do the job and that's what counts in my opinion. Shipping was fast and every light in the box worked.

I purchased a set of six of these lights for my garage. My plan was to direct wire them over the old receptacles to remove the single bulb that had been there. Packaging was fine for all six no damage to report. However, one of the lights of the six did not work when plugged in. Contacted Amazon and they credited my account back for that one light. I decided that wouldn’t be a big deal so the next morning I installed three of the fixtures on my ceiling. After I got the third light installed I started smelling and seeing smoke from the first fixture installed. The little transformer or whatever the little silver box inside of it is was blistering hot. At that point I really started questioning the quality of these fixtures. I decided at that time the qualitywas not worth burning my house down over. Needless to say I am returning all of them back to Amazon. As usual Amazon is great to work with that are giving me full credit for my return. I don’t believe it would’ve made any difference had I plugged the fixtures in, as it wasn’t due to the wiring rather a faulty circuit board inside. I have no qualms with the seller as I received them super fast and I will also tell you the intensity of the light is very bright. I would’ve been really happy with the lighting had I been comfortable to use them in my garage.

We put 10 of these lights in a 30x40 garage. We did not want the ones that hang down on chains, these are ceiling or wall mount only. They are very sleek looking and are bright enough to light the whole garage nicely. I also wanted the cover over the light instead of seeing the bulbs and I am very glad we chose these. My husband wasn't sure at first because they only have one bulb in each while a lot of the other choices had two bulbs each, but he was happy after we plugged one in to test it. Fast ship and great value too! Thank you!

Installed for a customer in a unfinished basement that had old fluorescent lights. Made a significant difference.

First off... My usage: I ordered these to replace 4' fluorescent shop lights in my basement.The pros: Yes they work. They have a rocker switch to turn the light on/off as opposed to a pull string. They are fairly simple to install. They are bright.The cons: My biggest fault with these are that they are not 4' (48") as advertised. They are 47.25". The screw holes are 46" apart and will not span across 16" OC joists without using the chain. The chain provided is cheap (one broke on me), but it will work to hold the lights as they are lightweight. One light did not come with any hardware, and the installation instructions were about useless.In the end, the lights are up, and the basement is well lit.
