The story of LOVE CAMP 7 is based on fact! During the darkest days of World War II, two young American WAC officers volunteer to infiltrate a Nazi Love Camp on a desperate rescue mission. Once inside, they are subjected to horrid humiliations at the hands of their captors. Can they survive long enough to complete their objective and escape with their lives intact? Launching the Nazisploitation craze of the 1970s, LOVE CAMP 7 was the dream child of Writer/Producer/Star Bob Cresse (THE SCAVENGERS), Producer Dave Friedman (BLOOD FEAST), and Director/Cinematographer Lee Frost (THE BLACK GESTAPO). Blue Underground presents the original version of LOVE CAMP 7 in a brand-new 4K restoration from its recently discovered camera negative! Special Features: NAZITHON: DECADENCE AND DESTRUCTION Theatrical Trailer Poster & Still Gallery BONUS Collectable Booklet featuring The History of Nazi-Exploitation by Paolo Zelati

High Campiness, lots of nudity
I first saw this with my 1996 VHS tape, 95 minutes in length. Compared to the Blu-ray DVD, it looks muddied. This print, outstanding in its crispness, is unexpected for a B-movie. And a B movie of high camp. Couched in terms as if it is real, it has all the elements of campiness. Leering guards, stilted dialogue, and horrible acting. And I doubt any of the actors took it seriously, which makes for many laughs. The uniforms may have tried for authenticity, but I really doubt that bikinis and even a string bikini was in existence in WWII. And what about the window air conditioner in one of the scenes, and the suntan lines on the women, and then the poorly placed floodlight behind one of the actors to make sure the women, who were standing in the nude, were in good light for the camera. One line sums things up nicely: "Sorry, as guards there are certain things we must do." And sex must have been uncomfortable, as the Nazi's kept their pants on, often being even buckled. There are two discs, one Blu-ray, and other normal DVD. It is advertised as the original uncensored version. But it is only 1 minutes longer then my VHS tape, so I doubt much was different. There is an 80 minute featurette on Nazi themed films, which is really a compilation of trailers from grindhouse type movies, in various Nazi type genres. This is what a B-movie should be, and a lot of fun to watch. And the quality of the copy is outstanding. After watching this, I know I have to put my ILSA (She Wolf of the SS, Wicked Warden) movies in the player to continue the campiness of this type of movie.

I never thought that Love Camp 7 would ever be released on Blu-ray
I never thought that Love Camp 7 would ever be released on Blu-ray. Nonetheless Blue Underground has released a Blu-ray edition of the uncensored version of this movie. It's amazing how this company was able to locate and use this movie's original 35 millimeter negative print to produce this product. Needless to say this special edition of Love Camp 7 makes all previous releases totally redundant.

Great picture quality
The video quality is excellent. The story is not for everybody and the acting could be better but, for its type, it is very good.

love camp 1
was not quite what I remembered. Some nice T&A, but that is it. A gorilla pounding on a typewriter could have come up with a better script. the love scenes completely lacked variety..I don't think I will even re-gift this one
