LEZYNECarbon Drive Lite HP Bicycle Frame Pump

Light weight, easy to use, 200 pumps a MTB 27.5 tie to 20psi, not bad for a ultralight pump.

I did not buy this pump to pump up a new tube after a flat. I carry co2 cartridges for that. I need something lightweight that I can use to pump enough air into a tube to check that the tire is mounted correctly and is not pinching the tube. Also, with about 20 pounds in the tube, the co2 cartridge can fill it up close to the psi I want.I knocked off 1 star because when I was trying it out, to see how it worked - unscrewing the hose also unscrewed the valve from the tube and it took a pair of pliers to remove it from the hose. I don't carry pliers on my bike, so I am a little concerned about that.I went online and found this:"On presta valves with a removable valve core: Before use with pump, remove valve coreand apply small amount of LOCTITE thread locker to valve core threads. Reinstall valve coreand securely tighten. "

Seems like a great little pump. My only issue is aesthetically, I don’t want it hanging off the size of one of my water bottle bosses. I want it to line up with the frame. Simple fix if LEZYNE would simply include an in-line mounting bracket.

I received my LEZYNE Carbon Drive Lite Hand Pump this past week. I went on a moderate 50 mile bike ride over the weekend and on my return trip, my bike had a flat. This is my first time using a small hand pump on my road bike. On a previous 80 mile ride, I had only a couple of CO2 cartridges and both end up in failure along with a bad tube. I had to cut my ride short. This time I was prepared. I read many reviews of other pumps and people having difficulty reaching higher pressure of 90psi+. I did not have any issues with this pump. I had the tube replaced and inflated within 15 minutes. It was surprisingly easy to use and I was able to inflate my tire back to normal high pressure and continue on my ride as if it never happened. The compact pump fits in my saddle bag and it is super light. This proved to be a very reliable solution and no more heavy CO2 cartridges for me. I'm a happy customer. Off to my next ride. :)

totally handy and easy to use. lightweight and portable. wouldnt take a lot of space on your bike kit. definitely must have item.

This is a neat little pump, but I find it almost impossible to work it at over 80 PSI. It did a reasonable job up to 65 or so. As the pressure increases I found that I could only pump a few times before I had to rest. It took 40 pumps to raise the pressure in a 23 mm tire from 55 to 65 PSI. It is certainly possible to ride home on 65 PSI. Since I want it as an emergency backup for cylinder inflation, it offers what I want. But if you're going to depend on this as your primary pump, consider a larger frame pump.

It's an excellent pump. Very small and lightweight, and very versatile. I have two bikes, one with presta and one with shrader, so it's one pump for everything. I also ride with others who have shrader, so you don't want to be useless to them if they need help. I would give it 3 starts, except that the Lezyne alloy pump is just as good for $20 less. The alloy version is practically the same size an weight, and even more durable.

Well made, stylish construction, light weight, small enough to fit in your jersey pocket. What more do you need?

Reliable!Hose and it's connectors are well designed and sealed. It's pocket-size is a bonus:-) 100% Recommended!

Great quality, very light and works a treat when called upon. Also easy to use and easily gets the tyres inflated to the correct pressure.

Great pump, not sure if I'd go for the carbon one again as the weight saving is minimal - but it does look trick.

Used it in real world scenarios, carry it all the time, bloody fantastic. Will last me a long time.
