Empava Electric Stove Induction Cooktop with 2 Burners in Black Vitro Ceramic Smooth Surface Glass 120V, 12 Inch

I’ve grown to love this cooktop. It boils water and heats pans faster than any cooktop I’ve ever used. There is a learning curve for using all induction cooktops (don’t remove pan from surface), however this is now my favorite and most used item in the kitchen. Cookware must be attracted to a magnet so I have stainless steel cookware. I upgraded from 4 to 5 stars cause this thing works great!

Ive had induction before on my previous range and just LOVED it! Well, it finally went out and could not be fixed, so I opted for a "regular" glass cooktop. HUGE mistake and I just HATE it after knowing what induction does/is!!!! So, I got this item to try and "fix" the problem. I have only used it twice, however it is AWESOME!!! The ONLY reason for the FOUR stars instead of five, is that it is quite a bit louder than what my range was. The fans in this cooktop are really pretty loud where the ones on the range I had were below the top so you could not hear them this loud. I would buy this again though!!!!! OH, it is MUCH taller than listed at about 4" NOT 2 ½" from the very bottom of the legs to the very top of the unit.

It is giving me error messages and not working. I just want to return it but the seller is being difficult.

I like the look, easy to clean and the size of the unit.There are no instructions and I can't find any online so don't know what is going on with the settings...When you set the power, on just one of the units burners, (2 burners share 1800 watts)...... First you come to the power setting, it will say 200 watts and you can up the power to where you want, up to 1800 watts, lets say you set the power to 900 watts......then you go to temp setting, it will say the lowest setting, 176, the default I think...... so at the temp setting, lets make that some amount, it goes up to 460 so, lets say we set that to 300 degrees...... so it is cooking now...... However, I am not sure it stays at 900 because if you go back to the power adjustment it will be at the default 200 watts... so turn it back up to 900, go back to the temp and it is back down to 175... Maybe each setting stays where you set it, maybe it does not... I don't know because I did not get any instructions and II cannot find any instruction for it online... It does work but I don't know for sure, what wattage or temp I am cooking at, so I have to watch it all the time, I can't just set it on 212 and leave it for a known amount of time...

I bought this for my son. He lives in a camper and the stove is gas so I thought electric would be better. He loves it he said it works great.

Love this stove! 2 large burners. Looks stylish! Beautiful black glass. Sooo easy to clean (takes a minute really). Heats really well. Be careful to insert plug directly into outlet and not in an extension cord connected to other heating elements. Very lightweight and slim width. I bought induction compatible stainless steel pots and it is great! I love it! Wish i had known about it earlier. Cooks really fast. Great control of heat (power level or temperature in deg F). A lock Button (good for when cleaning). Haven't used the timer yet. I always unplug when i am done using it. The only thing to note is that it is 1800 watts combined. So if one burner is at 1200 watts, the other will only go upto 600. This has not been an issue for me. I am also looking into getting an induction diffuser which is basically a metal plate on top of which you can use your non-induction compatible cookware like non-stick. Will edit once I find a suitable diffuser. This product is a lifechanger!

So far so good, lovely ! It ismy third induction cooktop, the first was a BERGHOFF that last 7 years, the second a EUROLIB, and this one is much larger and heats faster and hotter ...Works great !!!

Overall great experience with Amazon /J & R Wholesale, very friendly staff. Product so far works great, a fan a bit noisy.

I tried a few units but this one is the best. I tried boiling water. I saw bubbles in a few seconds. The water fully boiled in 7 min.Also very cute unit.

Not what we expected. Takes very long to heat up
