Mine never worked so Im guessing I probably got a bad one. I see videos of this thing working so I cant say they are all bad. Really lame too as this looked like the perfect gift for my daughter. I put a coin in the slot and pushed the button and this horribly loud voice screeches something thats inaudible and then this loud sounding motor begins to churn. Every time I tried it the cat never got high enough to reach the coin to grab it. I tried every coin I could find and it never grabbed it. The recording on it that plays every time you push the button was so loud and annoying that my wife came in the room and pleaded for me to stop. That said I would have kept this thing if it actually worked. Really sad as it looks like it would have been a blast for my daughter. I was thankful that ACME took it back for a full refund.

My stepson had his birthday & he loves his cat Archer most of all. I saw this originally as a puppy dog bank and was very happy to see it in the cat version also...upon opening presents at his celebration dinner, this was the hit. After he finally let go of it, all of the family and friends took their turn at this addictively amusing bank. I think he ended up with over 5 dollars that nite...& as the title said, he isn't an easily amused kid, this was his 24th Birthday!...plus all the family and his friends are also adults, it didn't matter, everyone was attracted to it...a definite satisfaction guaranteed item!

The bank would talk and the cat would reach out and tap the coin but would not pull the coin into the bank. Tried over and over and NEVER managed to get the coin in the bank and that is the main feature of this bank. Since the main feature did not function I had to return it. I was sad to have to return it because if it had actually worked it would have provided so much entertainment for my great-granddaughter.

Didn't work. Batteries installed, switch turned on, when the button was pressed, no matter how gently or how hard, it would say MEOW and nothing else happened. I bought two of them, both were broken
