After being diagnosed with MTHFR double gene mutation my doctor recommended I take a prescription form of methylfolate but it was cost prohibitive. I believe that dose is for 15 mg. Now having the option for a 5 mg dose at least allows me to get some of the medication daily. This is great because my doctor told me that I could get the prescription but take it a few times a week. I struggle with that plan (I forget to take it!) so this is a perfect alternative at a more affordable price.

I started using this for nonspecific tingling in my hands & feet, especially after heavy work. I took it faithfully daily for 6 months & 99% of the tingling has gone. Great product! If I stop using it regularly though some tingling comes back occasionally. So, I continue to use it at least every other day. A doctor said it is good for the nerves, especially if they were damaged. Whatever! I'm sold!

My whole family has problems digesting folate. I did my research and found out it was very common. Up to 60% of the population cant digest folate properly and need a pre-metabolized supplement like these. Our symptoms were irritability, fogginess, depression, negative attitudes. I take one of these and its like night and day. I like these because its a very good size dosage. I have had a few that weren't strong enough to make a difference and some that didn't work at all. I suggest these pills to any one who has any of these symptoms. If you notice a difference in your life you will now know why. Awesome item

I have suspected MTHFR and cannot afford the big test for it...This is much better for me than straight folic acid that is much needed for myself since I have CAD....Good product and was delivered in a timely manner. Would suggest and plan on purchasing again.
