What it smells like? How do you apply it? My opinion overall
So what does it smell like? I’m gonna try and be very descriptive about how Jafra ‘Tender Moments’ smells like. As you can expect, when people say it smells like baby they think of baby powder, baby oil, or baby shampoo and they’re not wrong. You can tell that it does smell like cologne but it’s very light and not that strong unless you put a lot of course. The smell of ’Tender moments’ smells like a slight hint of a man’s cologne mixed in with baby oil/baby powder. I smell more of the baby oil because it has a stronger fragrance than baby powder. When I smelled the cologne from the bottle, even though it definitely smells like baby oil, it smells fresh and not ‘oily’ if you know what I mean. When applying to your child, I would do it after bath time. Be careful when applying to your child because it can spill out since it isn’t a spray. Think of the cologne like it’s baby oil, just a dash of the cologne onto your hands would be more than enough. I personally like to rub both of my palms together and pat it on my child’s clothes and hair. It works perfectly on my child’s skin because she has ezcema from me but we both didn’t get any rashes or break outs.My opinion on this cologne, I would highly recommend if you want your baby to smell like ‘baby’. The smell lasts for a pretty long time in my opinion, I would say that it lasted for a good 24 hours from going out to staying home. It’s pretty affordable for something that can last for a while. Another thing about the bottle is that I like how they made the bottle because I’m able to put it in a traveling spray bottle so I can take it anywhere without carrying the whole thing. So would I buy it again? Yes, I would and I’ll be trying out the other scents soon!

It smells like what you think it should
I'm really into fragrances. Im also having my first child in a few weeks. After going totally clean and being green washed several years back, I developed sensitivity issues and eventually cancer. Since being in remission for a few years, I honestly don't care about the fear mongering surrounding fragrance in products. I also no longer experience the irritation and sensitivity I experienced when using all natural, non toxic and clean products because I now refrain from using those type of products. I personally do not care for the scent of essential oils and raw butters. Rose oil does not smell like fresh rose petals and shea butter and lavender stink. I just had to put that out there first. So don't judge me for subjecting my soon to be child to smelling pretty.Okay, I just received this Jafra Tender Moments fresh baby cologne in the mail. It smells like everything I imagined. My first thoughts is that it is both soapy and powdery. It smells like baby shampoo mixed with baby powder. Its definitely not the baby lotion scent. I can totally see myself using this on my baby. I know just pat it on my child's clothes. I can't see the difference between putting this in a baby's hair as too different from putting it on a baby's skin because of the proximity of the hair to skin. If my child does not exhibit any irritation from using this product, I wont hesitate to use it on her skin.It doesn't last long and the scent is soft. I can mainly smell it if I put my nose to my skin. So low projection and a skin scent. I mainly want to use it to freshen up my baby after diaper changes. I've yet to smell a baby that has the newborn baby smell people say they love. I'm convinced it just the ephemeral scent of baby products we use on the little wee one. My favorite category of fragrances to wear are the ones that smell like the result of good hygiene rather than smelling like perfume. So i prefer the scent of expensive body lotions and toiletry items to linger. This isn't really a travel friendly products. It has no spray apparatus to it. I'd probably repackage it in a tiny mister bottle to fit in my diaper bag. Also, at the bottom of the bottle it has a 6month shelf life after opening it symbol. So I should not try to hoard this product and just use it freely.I can't say if I'd repurchase just yet. It is a bit expensive for what it is. If it had longevity, then the cost would be justified. However, Im only recently finding out that baby powder is no longer recommended because of the particle size getting into babies lungs. So I don't know if baby powder is even easily accessible these days. So this might just capture the scent that might be gone, but very much smells like traditional clean baby. I'll update in 6 month if not consumed by mommy brain.Update: It’s been about 6 months since I did the original review. My baby is now 5 months old. The fragrance is not so light as I originally thought, but it still smells great. Although the packaging is really pretty, it is impractical. I don’t find myself using it as frequently as I thought I would because of the packaging. I’m not sure why splash bottles are the main packaging for many baby fragrances. Also, The fragrance doesn’t look or smell like it’s gone bad even though it now been 6 months.I’ve tried a few other brands and they don’t compare to Jafra in terms of smelling like traditional baby. Ones by Para Mi Bebe and Ricitos de Oro don’t even conjure ideas of baby, but work because they are fresh. I wish I could find one with a little different spin on the traditional baby smell like the scent of Noodles and Boo or Dreft scented beads. Those smell like baby even though they don’t smell like baby powder nor Johnson’s baby lotion. Unfortunately, they don’t make cologne. I do use the linen sprays though, but it’s not the same.If you wanted to try baby cologne for the first time, this would be your best bet. Many fragrances out there don’t smell like what you would imagine. I’d repurchase for sure.

Great smell, great for any child
I love the smell on my toddler, and it’s long lasting. Perfect for babies and toddlers. Even my older child whose 8 loves to put some on. It doesn’t cause a rash like other perfumes

Worth the purchase.
4.8/5 – The softest, sweetest baby scent ever!I wasn’t sure what to expect with a baby perfume, but I’m officially obsessed! The scent is so soft, fresh, and clean—think fresh-out-of-the-bath baby vibes with a gentle hint of powder and florals. It’s not overpowering at all, which I love. It just enhances that natural baby smell without being too much.I use a tiny spritz on clothes or hair, and it lasts surprisingly well throughout the day.

Smells wonderful!
This smells so good on my infant grandson! It’s not a spray, so you have to pour it in your hand to put it on the baby. Then snuggle with them for the rest of the day because they will smell amazing!
