i like to peel tomatoes with it. it is very sharp

This knife is so dang sharp -- I can easily cut myself just reaching for it in the dish drainer where I have left it to dry. I also need to go back to using a cutting board because it easily makes cuts in my "impenetrable" vinyl kitchen counter top that the landlord had thoughtfully installed -- and none of my other knives have left any cuts. So beware!Otherwise I am pleased with the knife, which cuts through everything like hot butter, and has remained that sharp throughout my first few months of everyday use..

It's made of "German steel" in THE PEOPLE"S REPUBLIC OF CHINA, and did not come with a sheath that has "Strong magnets embedded into the edge of the sheath to hold onto the spine of the knife."

This knife is perfect, it is really sharp, and I like the feel of it.

I like the 5 inch length plus it's serrated as there are not many serrated knives this length. I needed a knife that was longer than 4 inches but not a 6 inch one. I use it to cut big fruit, bread and meats. It is very sharp also.
