covers the important discoveries, etc.
A brief coverage of the topics but worthwhile. A good review of the items and well presented.

Excellent for moderate Alzheimer's easy reading
My grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's early this year and she's always been a voracious reader, so the progression of the disease has really hurt her ability to enjoy reading. Most books lose her interest very quickly now, and while I've bought a ton of coffee table type books that I figured would be ideal for her, she's iffy because of the sheer amount of photos. I've tried telling her that the photos don't make them "kids books", but try telling an Alzheimer's sufferer that you aren't patronizing them. It doesn't work!Anyway, enter this book. I've had magazine books myself, in the form of Japanese fashion ones. I bought this to see if it would get her nose turning up at it, but it was an immediate success. The magazine vibe eliminates that mistrust she has toward the coffee table books, but it's substantial enough that she won't breeze through it like an actual magazine. And since she's got memory issues, it has a lot of reread power. She's always loved learning about the topics that are in this book, and now it's finally accessible to her again. I wish there were more of these available on Amazon - I'd buy them all in a heartbeat for her.

One of those books that you can put near your bed.
I spread out 25 night time readings before nodding off with this volume.Highly recommended READ, if you are so-inclined to the subject-mater!
