I purchased these because I live in a hot climate with high humidity and my wood furniture developed a musty smell. I threw a few of these in the cabinet, the drawers and under the sink and about a month later that musty smell had dissipated. What I like even more is that you can reactivate the charcoal by sitting it out in the sun. Feels like your getting your monies worth.

Wow! These really work great against odors. Placed in garbage can that had a bad/strong odor and the odor is now completely gone. I had my doubts but was pleasantly surprised by this product.
