Secrets of Our Earth (Shine-A-Light) Hardcover – Picture Book, January 1, 2017

We gave this as a birthday gift for a 5 year old (along with a flashlight from the dollar store). It was a big hit. Her parents liked it so much they asked where we got it. They thought it was a great gift. If you are looking for something to gift that isn't a toy, this is great. The flashlight and hidden items, make it interesting and fun for kids.

Okay, so I love all of the shine-a-light books, but as a geologist I am totally enamored by this edition. Journey to the center of the earth with only the aid of your flashlight! It’s an engaging and interesting, fact-filled read, and just like every other book the added manipulative of using the flashlight to reveal hidden images captures my son’s attention. Huzzah!!

Bought like new, arrived in mint condition!

Lots of fun for little ones.

Such a fun book that has images hidden in it. Read it without a flashlight and it's a great book, but with a flashlight you can see hidden pictures and it makes the book so Mich more engaging for students.

Granddaughter loves these light books

These Shine-a-Light books are the best! I love that it is just one more way to get my kiddo involved in reading. It also helps to teach her new words as she asks "What's that?" for things that she doesn't know.

Not as good as some of the other flashlight books

This is an easter gift for my son. I have the apple tree one already and I thought this was a nice non-chocolate gift that he will love. I have been through it and I am sure he will love it
