Great rod for the money, nice sensitivity

Good, affordable swimbait rod.
I mainly use it for throwing larger swimbaits and smaller umbrella rigs. I'm not a huge swimbait or u-rig fisherman, so I don't typically fish this rod hard like I do my other cranking and Jig and Worm rods, but so far it has held up well. I have it paired with a Daiwa Tatula Type HD, and the balance is perfect and weight is very manageable. No complaints about performance. They're are certainly better swimbait rods available, but I would have no reservations recommended this rod for someone looking for a swimbait-specific rod at an affordable price.

best rod for the money. even tho it sames "swimbait" i would not throw anything larger than 3/4 oz or 5 inches in length with this. anything smaller works great. also tried with frogs in thick cover, handles that well to.

Good quality for the $ for smallish swimbaits
Good eyelets frolm Fiji there are 10. Good blank, a true moderate/fast. Rated up to 1.5oz so this IS NOT FOR BIG SWIMBAITS! The Umbrella rig rod is rated up to about 3.5oz

they rod has great strength and good looks, but it is very heavy and not as sensitive as most but I can still feel enough to get by.
