Very good product!
This cleansing balm is wonderful! Fast and thorough, it does exactly what’s it’s supposed to. However, it could be a tad better at removing mascara. It gets most of it, but I like every tiny bit to be gone, so I often use an eye makeup remover first. Otherwise, it’s perfect.

Yucky
Does not clean that first layer of make up off good enough for me and leaves your skin feeling weird.

SUPERB CLEANSING BALM * pH BALANCED AND MOISTURIZING MARINE COMPLEX & HYALURONIC ACID * MUST-HAVE
Skincare always works better within the same product line, which are meant to compliment and build upon each other. This is also true of K-Beauty BUVLEY's Pure Oil Cleansing Balm/Makeup Remover/Calming and Hydrating Facial Cleanser. I fell in love with this line when I ordered their Hydro Aqua Bubble Toner a few months ago, but the toner and this cleanser are much more effective when used together. My photo shows them side by side in case anyone is interested in the toner, as well. The pale blue and translucent packaging looks clean, cool, inviting and soothing, like water or the ocean which it represents. That visual is in keeping with the short ingredient list of minerals, marine water, and 9 marine extracts for natural cleaning without disrupting the pH balance. This balm is targeted for NORMAL TO OILY SKIN, BUT IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY ON MY DRY, SENSITIVE SKIN. [The enriching bubble toner works like liquid gold with this balm because it enhances/restores pH balance with the brand's special marine complex and 8 HYALURONIC ACID formula]. This is proof positive that few(er), not more ingredients are actually more pure and better.Cleansing balms are perfect for my dry skin, but don't let the concept or the Crisco-like appearance of the balm be a turnoff if you have a different skin type or haven't tried them before. Balms melt on the skin and become oily or greasy by nature to dissolve makeup and cleanse the face, but there's no oily or greasy residue left behind once rinsed off. The Balm basically greases the face and rinses away, leaving skin refreshed, ultra clean and softly moisturized. The bubble toner, if you use it, replenishes the pH balance with more moisture and patting bubble toner (literally dispenses as a lightweight foam) into my skin quickly became my new favorite toner method over a year ago. There's nothing like it -- far richer and superior to water toners. Both products have a very subtle, light floral fragrance not bothersome to my allergies or sensitive skin.Balms usually sell themselves with a single use. Once you try it, you'll probably be sold on it. My skin has never felt better, cleaner, tauter skin, and yet moisturized at the same time. It's almost like having a skin cleanser, exfoliator and resurfacer in one. This duo, together or used individually, is part of my daily skin routine more often than reaching for any other products. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Feels awesome, very strong perfume scent
I've never tried a cleansing balm before but saw that it was a lot more hydrating and better for sensitive or skin that can tend to dry out. I like that this came with a little scooper, but i wish there was a little slot or somewhere to keep the scooper. I do really appreciate that it came with one though, so I dont have to grab balm with my bare hands. The balm itself is really oily and creamy. It feels great on my skin but the perfume scent is very strong. It's kind of florally, and smells great, I'd love it as a perfume, but i really try to avoid scented products on my facial skin because my skin is quite sensitive. No bad reactions, other than I removed lipstick with it and got a mouthful of perfume as a result. The price seems fair, a little seems to go a long way.

Nice scent. Ok texture. Decent makeup removal. 3.5/5
I have used lots of oil cleansers before. They are my favorite products for makeup removal. I put the oil cleanser on dry hands, then rub all over my face, it melts the makeup off, then rinse with warm water and a microfiber washcloth. I like oil cleansers because I feel like they get ALL the make up off my face much better than soaps and don't leave my face dried out or oily once I rinse. This Buvley balm was interesting.I like that it is a solid. I specifically wanted to try this because I think it will be great for traveling. (Every time I bring liquid oil cleanser, I have to put it in a sealed ziploc because it will inevitably make a mess). With this balm, I will be able to put a little bit in the travel twist top containers I have and won't have to worry as much about oil leaking out.The texture goes on pretty well. It melts super easily, like if you've ever bought coconut oil for cooking before.I think compared to other makeup remover oils I've used, it does a decent job, but maybe not the best I've used. (I'd give this a 3.5/5, still better than non-oil cleansers, but I had to go back for more several times before all my makeup was off). The thing that bothered me the most is the scooper it comes with (so you don't have to un-hygienically stick your fingers into to the balm) doesn't fit inside the container with the balm when it's closed... so you have to either set it on top of the pot or just have it sitting on your bathroom counter. I wish it came with a scoop that could be sealed inside the pot so it wasn't creating clutter on my counter.Overall, I think I will probably end up just using this for travel, and will go back to a different oil cleanser for every day use at home.

Removes all the makeup without leaving my greasy
This stuff is good. It removes all the dirt and makeup without leaving me feel like a greasy mess. WOW. I don't know how they do it, but this stuff really works. I am a fan of it and would purchase again.
