Does the star aurora night light change colors automatically or just stay the same color?

Hello, the default mode is colors changing automatically when it's power on, you can set it to keep the same color by using the color buttons of remote( R, G, B, W)

how do you play white noise? Mine is only playing joy to the world! It won’t play the other white noises! heellppp lol

Once you hit the Bluetooth button, you have to choose different sounds by pressing the Forward >> or Back << buttons. Otherwise, it will just default to Joy to the world.

how heavy is it? could you affix it to the ceiling of a tent so the lights shine onto the floor?

It doesn't weigh munch but I don't know about hanging it in a tent. You could probably secure it to a tent pole though.

Is this product durable?

Well. I think this product is quite well designed and durable and nothing squeaking but if you look this product's lamp, which will light the northern lights and stars, this lamp's life cycle should be at least 10 000 hours, I don't know exactly how long it will light these ceilings before lamp is getting older and light will faded slowly off? For example here in Finland is selling disco colourful lamp bulbs, these usually are 10 000 hours (cheaps bulbs). But if you want buy expensive bulbs, these should light up 20 000-40 000 or 100 000 hours. I hope that my answer is enought to you. Merry Christmas! :)
