OGI General Purpose Masking Tape for Production Painting, 0.94-Inch by 60-Yard, 9-Pack

We LOVE this tape for labeling food containers in our restaurant/bakery! When Scotch’s “Contractor Grade” masking tape went out of stock one week, we had to try an alternative. I thought this was going to totally suuuck! It looked like cheap quality, but we were so pleasantly surprised. This tape simultaneously sticks well, but also peels off the containers effortlessly when it’s time. It’s easy to write on, even if it’s a little wet - this is a crucial quality for labeling food! Sharpie works better on this papery-material than it does to Scotch’s masking tape. Never gonna spend more $$ on name brand again - this tape is SO much better!

Purchased as an alternative to spray adhesives for small projects and in the hoop projects on a multi needle embroidery machine. Product was just what I needed and provided just enough tacky to hold items in place while sewing, easy to remove and left no residue behind when removed. It has a pretty firm grip as I was placing fairly thick materials on the hoop layered (custom baby dolls up to 5 layers of thick fabric) and had little to no shifting while the machine sewed the designs.

Experience has taught me that rolls of masking tape that have been smashed to where they are out of round or banged up on the edges do not work well. The tape will not easily release from the roll and it will start tearing and be very frustrating to try to use. My order was received in very poor condition. The outer box was not damaged so it was like this when it was packaged. I returned it for a refund.

good deal -works well and good price

I received the masking tape early. I noticed that when using the masking tape it doesn’t stick that well to the area I put it. I’m a little disappointed the masking tape doesn’t do what it supposed to. The good part is it’s easier to remove without leaving much tape residue.
