Fabric glides smoothly on 1940 treadle and modern machine
The low shank fits my 1949 treadle and on an adaptor for my modern machine. The presser foot material is very smooth; fabric glides under it as easily as my roller-bottom presser foot. The ruler is easy to use and accurate.I thought I'd dislike the anesthetics but seeing a happy green foot on my 1940 Singer 66-16 (treadle) makes me smile.I am getting results akin to using a walking foot because the presser is smooth and not as rigid as my vintage feet.

Broke puitting it on machine
I had high hopes when it arrived. Opened package and - the Cheap plastic piece snapped and broke when attaching to my sewing machine. Useless. I will return it - meaning a trip to UPS, is it worth it for $11? Not really, but it's the principle of it. I strongly urge you to find another product and do not buy this.
