Shepherd Hardware 9485 Wonder-Level Self-Leveling Table Glides, 4-Pack,Black

I decided to give this product a try despite the mixed reviews. They are a bit spendy so I’ve slowly been outfitting our 250 seat restaurant with them over time. I’ve purchased about 6 packs of them already. We’re also an event center so employees or customers drag tables across the concrete all the time. Definitely need to get the version with the felt pads, or buy your own felt pads and it makes a huge difference! It glides smoothly and effortlessly and I no longer have to get on my hands and knees to manually level over a dozen tables all the time. It’s pretty obvious from the reviews that the bad reviews either didn’t use them right or their floors are more out of level than the adjustable range of this product.Overall, I haven’t been able to find anything else similar. I’ll keep buying them!

Worked perfect ...

These worked great for my purpose. My stone patio was very uneven where I wanted to place a plant. Caster plant stands were too wobbly for a top heavy plant, and shims were frustrating. I installed these beneath a hexagon I created from leftover composite decking, and now no wobble! I only knocked off one star because, like other reviewers have stated, these did not actually level my plant, but they do keep it stable. I will definitely be ordering these again in the future.

I'm a restaurant owner. So far so good. They have an allen wrench so I can put them on tight. More importantly I can get them off again in a year if needed. They come with little plastic 1/4" thick feet that you attach with double sided sticky tape (provided). I like that, because no doubt these feet will eventually wear out from moving the tables all the time (re-arranging for parties, or just weekly cleaning). So when that happens I can just go to The Home Depot and buy more plastic discs, I've already seen them just standard 1" circular plastic discs. Double sided sticky tape you can get anywhere. I'll just have to let you know in a year how they held up. By the way, the table rocks just a bit when you put a lot of weight on it, like if you lean on it. But it holds up to normal hand pressure if you are seated and dining, it holds up to the weight of the plates and food. Just thought I would mention that the table will still lean one way or the other if you lean on it. So no, these aren't magical.

I got these self leveling leg end caps for the tables in my restaurant. Because, it states that they lock into place. I put them on two tables to test out. Before I did all the table bases. They seamed to work great when I first put them on and was very happy with the self leveling. Then after about two weeks of use . They quit working if any weight was placed on the table. They just don't lock into place. So, right back to being a wobbly table. One thing that a lot of dinners dislike is a wobbly table when eating, myself included. I bought a 16 pack. Some of them don't even work from the start after going through the bag. I was not able to return them because they stopped working after the return window was closed. Part my fault for not getting them install as soon as I got them. I can not recommend this item. Sorry.

My hubby and I took down the wall that separated our dining room and kitchen. The house is old which means that sometimes square isn't square, and level is almost level but not perfectly level. We wouldn't have known it wasn't level until we put a small breakfast table where the wall once stood. The table was supposed to be a small island that gave a place to serve our meals buffet style. It turned out to be the island of weebles because it wobbled, a lot. I bought these table glides because I didn't need heavy duty self levelers like you would use for appliances. Plus, I just installed new floors and didn't want metal self levelers that would damage my floor when we inevitably move the table in a new position. This product has not only perfectly leveled my table but came with several options for floor pads that fit the product perfectly. If you can drill a hole it is very easy to install. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a moderate sized to small table to be leveled. Please read the product description for weight. This is balanced using the weight of the item being stabilized. If you go above the max weight recommended by the manufacturer it will not solve your problem.

It not for me, it does not work on our tables. Screw is too small, tables are tilting. Sorry it did not work for me , may be work for you.

I bought a dining table that I could not get to sit stable on my floors. I purchased these and removed the plastic things the table came with and screwed these in. they worked like magic. Now whichever position the table is in, it sits flush and stable.....no more rocking dining table!
