Extracts of saw palmetto have been successfully used in clinical studies to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), including enlarged prostate; scanty, frequent, and weak urination; dribbling, difficult or painful urination. These studies have consistently demonstrated that Saw Palmetto formulations (and this product is one of the finest available) can relieve BPH symptoms after 45 days of regular use. Other ingredients in the formulation: zinc, pumpkin seed oil and a standardized extract of pygeum synergistically enhance the effect of saw palmetto.
