Worked Fine for First 3-4 Months
This product is heavy and appears to be well-made on removal from the carton. It fits the splitter very well. I was able to install it and remove it twice with no problem. Common sense says to wait until the motor cools. I did that both times. The third time I attempted to remove it, the inner liner had stuck to the pressure cylinder--as if by a chemical reaction. It tore the liner off of the cover part when removing it in that area. I assumed it was an isolated incident, so after using the splitter, I put it on again. This was in March. In May I attempted to remove it again, and it had adhered so tightly to the cylinder again, that it tore coming off. Also, it appeared that the 'canvas' outer had become weak from UV rays of the sun. This is in the sun about 6 hours of the day, but I don't live in Arizona, it's Indiana--so the sun doesn't shine every day, still the cover must not be UV resistant. The cover is ruined after 7 months of use. NOT RECOMMENDED--does not last. I didn't envision paying $80+ per year for new covers. I thought I'd get a few years use from this one. Not.

Works well for my splitter
This is the largest Log Splitter cover I could find, but, it's still too short for my splitter: this cover is 90-inches long, my splitter is ~100-inches long. But I knew that when I bought it so, it's OK. The other dimensions match up perfectly. When installed, the whole splitter is covered except for the front 1-2ft of the hitch. My splitter is an early 2000s Craftsman(made by MTD) splitter- built when they made 'em larger than today's splitters of the same capability. It was pretty easy to figure out which way this cover installed. It has a nylon rope drawstring- I pulled it tight and tied it off so the wind wouldn't blow it off. In the description OR questions I read that the drawstring was "Elastic", but, that's not true anymore (if it ever was).I don't plan on leaving this out in the weather- maybe rare occasions. Right now it's on my covered porch. Once the weather allows me to finish splitting (some wood I have tarped) I'm going to remove the cover and the hitch and stand up the splitter inside the garage for the rest of Winter. I'll fold up the cover and store it.Seems like pretty sturdy material. So far it works as expected and that's great!

Melted to splitter.
We've had this less than a year. It was in part shade/part sun. The cover actually melted to the top of the splitter. The splitter was not warm when we put the cover on but we simply covered it at the end of the season. Very disappointed that we didn't even get a year out of this. Now we have a cover with a big hole in the top where it melted so the cover is useless.

Not resistant to sunlight - fits well
I would like to find a cover made from a material that is more durable in sunlight. If this cover was more resistant to sunlight I would give it a 5 star rating. The cover fits the log splitter well and protects it from the elements. It is not blown off in the wind.My log splitter is stored in a sunny place. In the summer time the vinyl cover is degraded by sunlight. I have to purchase a new cover every year to keep my log splitter protected from the elements. The rubber parts of the log splitter would otherwise be degraded by the sun.

Good, not great.
Bought two designs. One was better than this, but this one covered wheels on my splitter. The part that ties it up is very poorly designed.

This cover did not last six months before completely coming ...
This cover did not last six months before completely coming apart at the seams. At first the cover seemed to be of high quality but after a few months in the sun it appeared to rot.

So Far So Good
We have just purchased the cover for our log splitter. It has been through two storms and has held up well. We will see if it lasts a year.
