Ateco Round Food Molding Set, 3.5 by 2.1-Inches High, 4-Piece Set Includes 2 Rings, Fitted Press & Transfer Plate

This piece of culinary equipment works wonders! I used to have to get creative with dry measuring cups and a spatula, and now I have these! So much easier and also larger than a dry 1cp measuring cup. It’s quite sturdy too, and my set didn’t have sharp edges to worry about. Highly recommend it for your kitchen, especially when you’re trying to impress!

This is my first try! This was so much fun. You can make desserts, salads, Mexican food, veggie stacks, casseroles, seafood, Italian food, ice cream, Mediterranean food, the ideas are endless! The presentation is amazing. I made two and the first mold came off easily. The second try, the mold was harder to remove. I think with practice, the technique will be perfected. It is worth the money. I will definitely use this on the meal rotation. This will make you feel like a chef extraordinaire! lolI do wish they had a taller size though. You definitely will not regret this purchase!

The 3' diameter and deeper size on these rings are great for stacking salads. The fitted press works great to "press down" each layer. It's eve better you get two in a box! I also ordered the smaller sized rings in a set. They are great for stacked appetizers!

One of the rings arrived with a little irregular shape, but not enough for me to return it. I used it today as an egg ring. The presser help to keep the egg from sticking when I remove the cylinder, and the eggs did not leak from the bottom. The metal is thick but still bendable and can be bump out of shape. I pick this item to use as an egg ring because it is 3.5" diameter and it is metal with no coating. The eggs fit perfectly in an english muffin. All metal egg rings that I can find are either silicon, 3" diameter, or have a non stick coating.

There are plenty of reviews here, but I’ll add my two cents anyway. The thing that stands out with these as with the other Ateco products I’ve used so far, and that is quality. The steel is exceptionally good. It’s well/polished, seamless, and a heavy enough gauge that it stays round. It’s a proper stainless and always comes up clean when I wash it, and doesn’t respond poorly to dishwasher soap like some of the cheaper “stainless” products I’ve had the misfortune of using. Of course it does as you’d expect for making cylinder-molded foods, but one of my favorite party tricks is taking the 3.5” mold and putting 1.5 oz of my preferred ground beef mix in it, and in no time at all, you can hand mold exquisite quantities of slider patties. Toast up some dinner rolls, and thar she blows. Whether you pickle some veg and slice some tomatoes and make some bacon and all that is up to you. Bear in mind that the presser is smooth and not fluted or scalloped at all, so don’t use it for sliders, but do use it for elegant layered courses. The transfer pan is nicely sized to exceed the edges of the mold, and has a nicely creased gusset where the thumb grip meets the edge, so it doesn’t wobble, and stays true to shape as long as you don’t put it at the bottom of the sink with the rest of your pots and pans resting on it. There are few kitchen tools I’d recommend without hesitation, but this is one of them.

I discovered this product when I saw a friend using it to form crab cakes. I ordered it as soon as I got home and don't know how I made crabcakes for all those years without it! No more messy hands and nice holding-together crab cakes.Also good for fish cakes and veggie burgers as well as layered salads.As for crab cake technique, place ring on base, sprinkle on panko, add crab mix, press, sprinkle panko on top and press again.

I regularly use these molds to make a variety of different raw, dehydrated veggie burger patties, mushroom-oat burgers and falafels. Along with a measured food disher, these work beautifully to produce consistently sized patties time and time again. If you lightly coat the inside of the rings and bottom of the plunger with coconut oil, even the stickiest mixtures will slide out with ease. I clean them up and re-coat them with oil once or twice when making 12-18 patties to put in the dehydrator and it takes very little time to fly through the process. I also periodically use these molds to make raw, vegan cheesecakes and other frozen layered deserts, and they work every bit as well. I'd love to have a set in a smaller size for individual serving-sized desserts, as well.IMO, these Ateco Ring Molds are a lifesaver when making a lot of raw, plant-based dishes and desserts, like I do. They are a must-have in our vegan kitchen and I couldn't imagine being without them.

I bought this set as a gift for my wife for an end-of-our-son's-school-year present. (As you see, I'll use any excuse to buy good kitchen equipment.)Amazon's service and free shipping was, as always (recently, at least) excellent. As good as the service was, though, the stainless steel set was even better. Now, creating amazing presentations at our dinners is a breeze. The product and the presentations we're able to create are impressive that I've put this set on my wish list again so I can get another one!

Very good quality (according to my wife, the family cook). Nice and thick, durable stainless steel. Great finishing inside. Have yet to use it due to it being a Xmas gift. But according to the family cook, will be much appreciated by the head of the family, the wife's father.

They are great. Solid materials. Seems to be excellent quality and great value for the money considering I shopped around and Other places were selling individuals one for upward of $20
