Best Friends Forever (Strawberry Shortcake)

Our 2 1/2 year old girl liked the Strawberry Shortcake movie, so we decided to explore the book series. This is the first book we got, and it's a perfect first book! It introduces you to each character, one by one, and talks about the group's favorite things to do together. She loves the book and wants us to read it to her over and over. She points to each character and repeats the name, obviously trying to mentally keep them straight. She loves the pages that describe ballet class, dressing up as princesses, and watching movies (some of her favorite activities, too!) I can see how this might be "too basic" if you already have other Strawberry Shortcake books though. We plan to get many more from this series...the characters are great role models, and it's the perfect level of text for the attention span of a 2-3 year old!

Our 5yr old daughter ADORES these books and has for yrs! She has every one of them and looks forward to new ones. She has every one of the films of this series as well. The stories are sweet and teach kids good values like kindness and integrity. They are well illustrated with vibrant colors and pretty scenery. We read them every nite before bed. Your Princess will love them too.

My daughter loves everything strawberry shortcake. I like reading the strewberry shortcake books to her too, because I don't have to read the exact same sentence multiple times like other children stories. 'Best friends forever' is a nice one because it introduces all the strewberry shortcake characters.

My 2 year old girl loves Strawbery Shortcake and this is her favorite book. The only problem (for us) is it is paperback and my daughter has gone through two of these because she loves turning the pages herself.

bought these for my daughter for Christmas. The reading is a bit advanced for her right now but she loves strawberry shortcake and the colors and pretty images are very appealing plus they have stickers!!

This is not an entertaining story but an introduction to each of the darling Strawberry Shortcake characters. It's the perfect way to introduce your child to each of the girls but don't expect much more. My daughter loves it though and I plan to purchase additional stories for her. The illustrations alone make this a good buy.
