PILOT Namiki IC50 Fountain Pen Ink Cartridges, Red, 6-Pack (69002)

I bought these red ink cartridges with no expectations. When I received them, I plugged on into my $11.50 Pilot Metropolitan fountain pen with a fine tip. There was some black ink still in its nib and the ink color went from black to brown and then to red over a period of an hour or so of writing. The red ink looks translucent and I expected the color to be light but it seem fine. I use the pen for correcting student papers and to write notes in my notebook that I want to be comments on what I have already written in black. It works fine. I recommend these cartridges.

12 year old daughter wanted ink pens for her birthday. She loves Harry Potter and wanted to make a diary like Tom Riddle. She is having fun. No complaints. Came on time. Red ink looks nice (pictured is black ink).

The cartridges work well, no problem spilling ink. Ink flows consistently. Good color

The red is very bright so I wouldn't recommend it for everyday writing. It's better suited as a correction/editing ink.

I have used these cartridges (also blue and black) for years in my Pilot Metropolitan fountain pens. They are dependable and leak free.

Easy to load. Each cartridge lasts several days, and I use it a lot as an editor. Am going to try using the adapter with a bottle of ink, but would willingly switch back if that process is too messy for me. Color is nice. Not too watery, so bleed is minimal.

Red is Red and this is Red.

A good cartridge for my pen. smooth ink flow and fast drying.

Just the ticket

compared to a red rollerball red ink this seems so light. Definitely not a deef or rich or dark red. I only got this because it is the only type that fits the Japanese Pilot Kakuno fountain pen. I find these a bit overpriced. I will probably reinject of a higher quality bottle into these cartridges when they are done.

What a mess. 4 of the 6 red ink cartridges exploded in the mail. Not impressed.

Doesn't even fit any of my fountain pens, tried with pilot and Hero.Too big, doesn't fit.Just bought it for the color as it's hard to find red color ink
