It's a little hard to get BACK into the tiny size it originally comes in, but with some practiced manhandling, it's fine. Just a little floofier than it first arrives. It's a sturdy little umbrella for a decent price. I'm happy with it!

Great for travel. It fits nicely into my luggage and easy to open.

I tried, pushing the button over and over and also pushing up while pressing the release button down. absolute piece of crap and waste of money

We ordered two of these for the expressed purpose of taking them on a multi-city trip to Europe. We wanted a lightweight and compact umbrella, and we got it. For the limited use on the trip (2 days in use), they were fine...but low quality. We didn't even feel they were worth bringing back on the flight with us. So...they were donated to a local shelter in Paris. For the price and size, they worked for us...but the umbrella is not going to last a full season. You should treat this like it is disposable.

I bought this for a vacation day out in questionable weather. I wanted something that would work for both rain and sun. I wanted something lightweight and small since I’d be carrying it in an already well-stocked purse for traveling. It met all my requirements. BUT . . . It’s difficult to open and difficult to collapse and impossible to put back in its little sleeve without saying many bad words. Not an umbrella for everyday. A good one for maybe.

bought to bring to disney for the rain. folds up SUPER small and opens up really big. ended up having no rain but used to keep sun off my kids here and there. NICE umbrella

It's cute. I bought it for a trip, but didn't have to use it then. I used it for the first time this week. Took a minute to figure out how to open it - it's not very intuitive. Walked out to the car, got in... and it won't collapse. It is stuck in the open position. The button doesn't work, the telescoping handle is unpredictable. As someone else said, in trying to get it to collapse, the handle fell off. Very disappointed.

This umbrella is the worst purchase anyone can make. With its price, you could easily buy two much better umbrellas. The quality is subpar, and it's difficult to open. Contrary to my initial assumption based on the price, it doesn't open automatically. Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to this detail when buying it, assuming it must be automatic at that cost. Returning it wasn't cost-effective, so I'm stuck with this useless umbrella and won't be using it at all.
