COTTON, COTTON, COTTON
COTTON FABRIC is the best feature of these HANES LEGGINGS. I own several pairs. Mostly black but also grey and navy blue. Most recent purchase is a gift for a friend, who ordered another brand that are made from 100% POLYESTER. They don't fit well and they're hot to wear. The BRAND X LEGGINGS are shiny and ugly, somehow reminiscent of 1970s POLYESTER DOUBLE KNIT.Because these HANES LEGGINGS are made of 90% COTTON and 10% LYCRA (for stretch), they are cool and comfortable. HANES LEGGINGS are provided the kind of coverage that's suitable for wearing in public, unlike some brands that resemble footless pantyhose. They are true to size - fit as expected. As a bonus, HANES LEGGINGS are easy to care for by machine wash and dry on warm settings and minimum color bleeding when new. Here's the negative, having nothing to do with quality. I wear HANES LEGGINGS around the house, when shopping, and as sleepwear and own more than a dozen - all purchased from AMAZON. Transportation and distribution costs are on the rise. I get that. In the few months since my last purchase, the price of HANES LEGGINGS has doubled - greatly reducing my enthusiasm for their value. I will continue to buy and recommend them but am more likely to wear them into rags before replacing.Worth repeating... COTTON, COTTON, COTTON

I consistent fit
The first pair of these leggings I ordered were great. Nice quality, great fit. So I did buy again. What I got was capris. So I returned them and asked for a replacement of leggings. I got the replacement quickly and it was the correct item and size. However they fit totally differently. The waist is tighter and so are the legs. I'll wear them but probably won't reorder due to the inconsistentcy of the item.

Comfy, heavy duty quality
Good quality stitching and seams, launders well.I’ve worn them in the summer and into winter. They are nice for around the house, but I have worn them in public comfortably, with a long blouse. I have quite a few pair all in black. There is no see-through issue. There is no pocket, which would possibly make them more inconvenient for some people, overall, I am happy with them.

Good leggings for thin calves
I have bought Hanes leggings in the past and really liked them. They fit well, were comfortable with thick enough material and proportional.I believe it was another model of Hanes leggings, as these are very different. The material in these is thinner, and the proportions are much different. They fit me fine everywhere except for the calves which are way too small, which makes my calves feel like they are being strangled. The butt part fits perfectly, the same with the thighs but below the thighs they are extremely tight and uncomfortable. I tried to wear them, but the skin tight fit on the calves kind of pulls them down and I have to keep pulling the waist band up. They are comfortable everywhere except for the tighter than tight skin tight calf part. I don't know if Hanes decided to take away some material in that area to save costs on production, but does it ever ruin them. These would fit women with big butt and real skinny calves very well. For me they were a total waste of money, and not even comfortable enough to wear around the house. I noticed right away when they came in that the calf part was very, very narrow. So unless you have very skinny calves, don't waste your money.

comfortable, heavy, warm cotton leggings
These cotton leggings are comfortable and seem like they'll last for years. They are stretchy, heavy, and warm. Be sure to buy the ones which are 100% cotton.

False advertising - they are NOT 54% Cotton, 36% Polyester & 10% Spandex!
Since I became disabled & forced into retirement, I am home all day & so wear leggings..all..the..time! And I specifically bought Black leggings because they should go with pretty much any color t-shirt or hoodie I pair them with!I really wanted to like these leggings more than I currently do.For the most part they are comfy, the thickness is okay but when I received them the “black” was already washed out looking (not cool).However...They’re not silky soft which is what I really had been hoping for. I bought a pair black of No Nonsense Leggings on the same day & planned to compare the 2, & then purchase a second pair of whichever I liked better. (For the record, I liked the No Nonsense better - they WERE silky soft so I did recently buy a second pair, but while the labels are the same, the texture of those leggings have changed and they now SUCK!)Sorry, I digress. These Hanes Womens Stretch Leggings are advertised as being 54% Cotton, 36% Polyester, and 10% Spandex. That is FALSE!Per the label in my leggings, they are actually 90% Cotton & 10% Spandex. Hence the reason they are not silky soft! The silky soft material comes from a lower cotton / higher polyester blend. So, the question now becomes, do I try again? Do I buy another pair of the Hanes Womens Stretch Leggings & hope I get the advertised leggings since No Nonsense has changed their leggings?

Comfy and good fit
These are a bargain. Fits true to size and washing cold, drying on medium has not caused them to shrink. Comfortable & right amount of stretch. Since I don't work out in a gym I don't know how satisfactory they would be for that purpose but I recommend to anyone just looking for comfy, good looking leggings. They have held up well thru a lot of washes & haven't stretch out.
