This adapter is designed to connect to the top of a standard paint pole and turn it into a very long monopod. Adapter is made of CNC machined aluminum with an anodized black finish and has a 1/4 - 20 male stud with a rubber pad. Great for use on short poles to shoot your outdoor adventure or on a very long pole to get nice overhead shots at big events. Real estate pictures will have a completely different look. You'll be able to achieve some interesting camera angles from high up at a very affordable price. You can use this with a small ball head, use to mount some accessories or directly with a lightweight camera. To mount a sport camera or microphone, adapters with a 1/4 female thread might be necessary. Pole and cameras are not included.

Works great. Some threads on metal paint poles can differ, so make sure you don't buy this for your Purdy Pro lock setup. I had to go buy a Sherlock 8-24' to fit this. The threads still binded up a little, but I was able to thread it 95% of the way without stripping anything. Works great on the giant selfie stick I needed to make for work.

Fits a painter pole purchased from local big box home improvement store perfectly. There's a thin rubber face embedded on top of this adapter which helps prevent loosening of objects screwed onto it. Nice!

so not too happy since it didn't fit the extension rods I wanted ...
Tried to fit on multiple broom handles, plastic, wood, etc... out of 5 different ones, this only kinda fit one.. so not too happy since it didn't fit the extension rods I wanted to use with it
