Not happy
This product might work better in the US as they regulate the system it runs on. Not recommended for the UAE. Not compatible with outside apps.

I have a Philips smart tv that stopped working because smart TVs need to log in to a website to authenticate the connection. For some reason, Philips' website went down, so I bought the Roku box, and even though Philips fixed the problem on their website and I now have a smart TV, I still use Roku because it has a better interface and a faster connection.

Not open source
Its should mention clearly that this is not an open source and its services mostly doesnt work in uae , plus remot should be really functionail as volume and sound silencer bottoms not working

Good device but less access in uae
Geo blocked in uae so cant install and use amazon prime and Disney plus.Netflix and youtube working fine for me.one good thing is that its possible to airplay amazon prime and disney plus content from your mobile to roku. Overall the device and its interface is amazing but we dont have unrestricted access in uae.can access with few workarounds as I mentioned.

Disney and Amazon Prime not working in UAE
Apparently, since Roku isn't officially served in the UAE, Disney+ and Amazon Prime apps do not install in it. Also Roku app is not available in the UAE.

Bad purchase
Bad experience from eta and usability. Roku does not support uae and still sells in the country without mentioning support issues. The delivery was painfully delayed... And no one will try to reach you at all.
