Handy Paint Pail, Holds 32-fl oz of Paint or Stain, Efficient for Clean-ups and Quick Color Changes with Integrated Magnetic Brush Holder

This is an awesome little hand held paint pail. The disposable liners are readily available at Home Depot locally so that is a plus. I've used it with and without the liner and it washes up nicely if using common latex type paints. The magnet inside holds the brush so it isn't sitting in a full pail of paint, and is handy to always have the brush stay on the one side of the pail. I never used one of these types of pails till someone recommended it, and I like it. I'm doing a ton of painting in my home(Trim/Walls/Ceilings/Etc) and I'm using this lots. Update: I can't even tell you how many times I've used this thing and it still works great. It has a little paint build up on it from the times when I didn't use a liner, but it is still very functional and I'm guessing I won't need to buy another one for a very long time. Still highly recommended. Another Update: Yup, still using this product and it still works great! I have some touch up from the past paint jobs in the last few years, and am renovating and one project has a ton of trim so I will be using this. Still highly recommended. ANOTHER UPDATE (11-2014) Just finished renovating a 1/2 bath where I did custom Wainscoting and trim throughout the room. Tons of walls, wood, and trim to paint and this bucket was used. I probably did 10 different painting sessions and rewashed the disposable liner as well. I've probably used the same disposable liner for the last few projects and it still is 90% clean, so I definitely recommend getting a pack of those and once you are done washing out your brush, give the liner a scrub and reuse it as long as it doesn't get too caked up. For the paint pail, the magnet inside is awesome and it will hold your brush out of the paint, or just in the paint however you want it. Very helpful when you need to set things down for a minute. I also recommend Purdy paint brushes, they are a bit more expensive but can't be beat and if you wash them good they last a long time and hold a great edge. I use this paint pail to rinse the brushes in (Only Latex Paint) by filling it and pushing the brush against the bottom and sides until I don't see any more paint coming out. A necessity when I paint!

I will add my voice to the chorus of people who have already raved about how wonderful this product is. The handle is sturdy, adjustable and incredibly comfortable to hold, and the magnet to hold the brush is a game-changer. With this pail, I managed to paint for an entire afternoon and *not* get pain all over the metal part of the brush. That was a first for me and made brush clean-up so much easier. Somewhere, I read that you should only add enough paint to the bucket to reach about 1/3 of the way up the paintbrush bristles. That turned out to be excellent advice. Even if you to happen to drop your brush in the pail (which I didn’t do once because the strong magnet works so well), it won’t get covered with paint the way it invariably does if you work directly from a quart or gallon can. For the ridiculously low price (I managed to snag it when Amazon had it on sale for $6.30, but even at the regular price of about $10, it’s a bargain), this sturdy bucket is a long-term investment that will take a lot of the horror and mess out of painting. I like to keep my tools and equipment as clean as possible. Although the bucket looks like it would be easy to clean (at least, after using latex/acrylic paint), I think the pail liners, which are less than $1 each, are likewise a bargain and a must-have item. I realize the liners probably cost about 5 cents to manufacture, but even if you don’t reuse them (as some people claim they do), $1 is a very low price to avoid the messy horror of cleaning out a paint pail or, even worse, trying to keep the original paint can in super-clean condition for storage. Highly recommended. 5 stars.

Great for taking some paint and a brush up a ladder safely. The handle strap attaches the container securely on the hand. The interior magnet holds a typical brush high in place securely as well. So you can carry both in one hand without the brush being totally immersed in the paint, with confidence it stays in place. They clean up pretty good also, with latex paint being used. In fact I purchased this to replace one I’d used for years and was a bit too paint splattered after multiple uses. Nicely sized. I recommend them.

I’m just painting around the house. Certainly comes in helpful especially while on a ladder.

I have used the Handy Paint Pail for years. This is a newer version and it much lighter than the previous one I had. The liners are a must have as they make clean up super easy. The strap fits nicely over your hand and is adjustable. The magnetic brush hold works well with brushes with a metal feral and holds the brush well. I would definitely purchase this item again.

This is a great product that comes with inserts fit inside so when you’re done, you just pull the insert out and throw it in the trash. Very little cleanup. Used them for years and years doing maintenance work.

I love this little pail. It makes it so easy to do trim work and touch ups. I love the strap. It makes it easy to hold and hard to drop. Get the inserts and clean up is a breeze!

Love this hand held paint holder. I love it that is has a magnet inside the container that holds the paint brush secure. When you are climbing up and down a ladder with this this paint holder in your hand, you will realize the benefit of the magnet preventing the brush from dropping down into the paint. Also this paint pail has a nice wide strap for your hand to hold it very comfortable without having to grip the container with your fingers. It is very sturdy and easy to clean with soap and water. I am so glad I discovered this on Amazon. I purchased the paint roller container also and love it. Two well designed products that make painting a lot easier.

So I have fencing to paint and instead of dragging around the tin of stain with me and watching it dry out as I was painting or spilling stain everywhere I got this plus some infill for it also. I have to its excellent. I add a good amount to the pot and it allows me to carry the pot with a 5" brush and get the fence painted. No spills, not worrying about the rest of the stain going off on me either. I've also used it now whilst cutting in when painting rooms indoors, able to work on the ladder no problem and with the infills its an easy clean up
