VEGAS Movie Studio 14 Platinum - Perfect support for creative video editing

Great bundle comes with DVD Architect as well as Movie Studio

If you are interested in authoring your own blu ray disks, the only one I found capable of doing this is DVD Architect that comes bundled with this package (only the Version 14). You can find free trials of the authoring software, but this package is the only way to get it licensed. It is fairly powerful with a bit of a learning curve but will burn blu-rays where so many others I tried failed.

I had a hard time downloading this product via the instructions in supplied. I ordered the CD so just went into the E:Drive and installed the MSP not the other products (musicmaker, etc.). Once I got it started I used the "show me how to" on top and it outlined on the screen specifically to click (not just a list of what to do) which was REALLY helpful. I am using this for a basic wedding video so didn't need all the fancy details but they were fun to play with once I learned what all the buttons & icons meant. I still have a lot to learn but glad I purchased.

Easy to learn, many features. I specially loved zooming and panning on a Sony 4K video. This became extremely helpful when editing. I was able to zoom in and pan around the cropped image, save the project, then come back and edit the position of the zoomed in image, to exactly match other parts of the video I had edited this way.Minus 1 star because it keeps showing a popup asking if I want to upgrade to Vegas 15, even after clicking the "do not show this again". I guess it deserves minus half star for this but that's not a thing here.

This is a good and easy to use program. Version 12 has a better layout and a color scheme that is easier on the eyes. This one was bought to view all four cameras at the same time for more accurate editing choices. However, this feature was not included after all. Vegas is a very easy program to work with - it crashes each time I hold the mouse on an instruction too long - so back up after every few changes. Also, for some reason they took out the 'speed key' commands of earlier versions like <cntr,A> for 'save as' and <cntr,R> for 'render as' etc . . . this really makes the program more awkward to use since the mouse slows file commands down. I recommend it but if you are a beginner with Vegas get an earlier version to speed your work along.

I've used Sony Movie Studio Platinum version 12, and to a point this is very similar. The only difference is learning the new features. So, I could comprehend the software program pretty well. For those completely new to Vegas Movie Studio 14 Platinum, its not a difficult program to learn. If anyone has a question about it, I'd be glad to answer. I may even make a few video tutorials and put them on Youtube for people to see. Lastly, for anyone who really wants to get creative with their movie projects, but don't wish to pay an arm and a leg for expensive editing software, this platform is really good for the purchase. I'm glad I made the upgrade from Sony Movie Studio Platinum version 12 (now I can play around with version 14)!

The movie editing software is very good and after becoming familiar with it, it's pretty easy to work with. I marked it down because the package come with DVD Architect. But, even though it is installed, the program does not recognize this and won't let me copy my movie to a DVD with menus. I can only use the standard version in the Vegas editing software, which does not utilize menus.I am very pleased with the picture-in-picture effect, and also having the option of setting the opaqueness of videos, which allows me to put two videos on the timeline in the same space, and adjust the overlapping to create a great effect.

So far - an excellent product. I have only scratched the surface of it's capabilities. Plenty of tutorials out there to help you get started and editing videos. I have used this program so far in editing Dash Cam videos, Video Camera videos, Converted VHS films and single JPG photos. This company knows what they are doing in the software field. Have not had to utilize their Tech Support yet so can't comment on this service. An excellent entry level video editing software tool. Highly recommend it.

Llegó muy rápido, al día siguiente de haberlo solicitado, temprano por la mañana ya lo tenía en mis manos, fue muy sencilla la instalación, sin problema alguno, una vez instalado fue muy sencillo probar sus funciones y características.Yo soy nuevo en esto de la edición de video, sin embargo fue muy sencillo trabajar con este producto, son muy sencillas las transiciones entre tomas, el control del volumen, el agregar una banda sonora de varias fuentes y combinarlas. El integrar imágenes y vídeos, si se tiene un equipo con buena capacidad de procesamiento (mínimo intel i5 o equivalente) el renderizado se ejecuta con una buena velocidad. Existen muchos videos y tutoriales en internet, además de que el producto mismo trae sus tutoriales y ayuda.Es ampliamente recomendado desde mi novato punto de vista, excedió por mucho mis expectativas!

I have to give this only 4 stars due to its learning curve. It’s a powerful piece of software but explains nothing very well and could take a while to figure out how to use it to your advantage.I think I read another review complaining about personal information, the information is just your regular starting account information on most any software or sites from this you’ll register, get updates and such.If you want a program that works this does work well but it also won’t hold your hand so if your not up for a bit of a challenge then this is probably not the software for you.

Probe el movie studio 13 y me gusto era facil y me gustaba las opciones de herramientas que te brindaba ,lo estuve usando durante mas de un mes ,hasta que me anime a comprarme uno mejor el movie studio 14 platimun ya que proporcionaba mas herramientas,la verdad me a costado mucho encontrar tutotiales en español para este editor de videos es algo mas complicado hacer recortes ,pero cabe recalcar que tiene una buena correccion de audio manipulable casi pierdo un video y quedo irreconocible bastante bueno ,aun le falta mejorar el soporte al consumidor
