Sturdy neat dog collars.

As a grad student, my service dog and I wind up in all kinds of wild situations - meeting ambassadors, getting lost in the US Supreme Court building, Sundance resort, Manila's Mall of Asia, Bahamian beaches... she's got to be beautifully behaved and looking sharp! We've got the Starry Night and the Mondriaan collars. They've both proven durable, done fine in the washing machine, and stayed vibrant. The artworks translate nicely to collar format and it's been fun to see smiling recognition on faces at home and abroad. Two thumbs and two paws up!

This collar just came a bit ago and right away: It is too thin, the safety clip is too easily opened. I do not feel this is sturdy and safe enough to use. and am returning it. It is under sized.

Love this Starry Night collar! I agree with some of the previous reviewers that the inside stitched edge has very sharp corners. It’s worth ordering and keeping the collar because there is an easy fix. Just trim the 2 sharp corners with cuticle scissors and then buff the edges with a nail file. It is the inside of the collar so you won’t see the fuzzy edge and it makes a huge difference in softening that area so it won’t irritate your pup. The collar is very well made and I love the design. I ordered the Medium for my mini golden doodle who weighs 32 lb and has a 14” neck and it fits perfectly. The Small was way too narrow for her.

Cute but not as vivid as I would have liked. There indeed was a sharp edge on the inside, so I snipped and buffed it as a previous reviewer demonstrated. We just put it on today, we’ll see how it goes. Micah has a 14.5” neck and I got the medium - he’s still a pup and this collar fits and has room to grow.

Got the Starry Night collar. It's beautiful. Well constructed. Very sturdy clasp. Very good value compared to what you get from the local pet stores. Highly recommend💖

I bought this collar because I'm a huge Doctor Who fan, after doing a bunch of looking online for something new for my dog. He'd outgrown his puppy collar and I wanted to upgrade to a full sized one to fit him better. I had to look elsewhere online for the width of the collar - the medium and the large are both 1 inch wide, and the small is 5/8ths of an inch.The first thing I did when I got the collar (after my pup tried it on) was to take a seam ripper and remove the very unsightly brand tag. It's merely sewn over the tag, was huge, and was on crooked anyhow. It left no trace behind and was easy to remove.The collar was shipped quickly, and he's been wearing it for about two weeks now. My pup swims almost every day, and last night I had to wash the collar for the first time because it was starting to smell musty. I never once had to wash his smaller collar. But I'm not sure if it dried off more quickly due to the summer warmth, different materials, and smaller size, or some other reason.In any case, I'm quite thrilled with this purchase. The colors faded slightly after his first swim, but they are still vibrant and gorgeous against his black fur. And the price can't be beat.
