Easy to install. Plug unit in near router. Press WPS button on router then the WPS button on the unit. Wait for 3 green lights to glow. That’s it. Signal was very weak in bedroom farthest from router when streaming apps they were always cutting out. No problem now. Works great. Full power signal in this room

The US-Aoke WiFi Extender was easy to install via either the WPS button or the PC setup - I used both methods, with the same result (note: it seems the reset button doesn't function unless the Extender is plugged in when reset is pressed). But could someone please explain to me why my internet speed drops so drastically when connected to the Extender? Per Speedtest.net, my download/upload speeds when connected to our internet gateway are 300-500 Mbps download/200-400 upload (the lower speeds are in the farthest reaches of our 2400 sq ft house). When connected to the WiFi Extender, those speeds are never higher than 43 Mbps, even right next to the Extender and/or our gateway. I suspect results would be similar for all Wi-Fi Extenders. Am I missing something? There is no technical support for this product (no phone number listed). If any reader would like to respond to this review and clarify my confusion, feel free. Our gateway is new as of August 2021.

I was going to test one in my RV for Campsites with Wi-FI. I bought it to boost the WI-Fi in the backyard. It worked better than expected and was easy for someone with little technical skills to set up. The directions read way more complicated than it is to set up. Works excellent and gave me a stronger signal than I anticipated.

✅ Instillation was easy and quick. Instructions are easy to follow. Product is very small and compact.👎🏼 However, it does not seem to extend signal any more than my original router does. I also found that there are times when I am in the same room as the extender but my wifi signal bars decrease. It actually created spotty wifi rather than actually increasing it.I used to be able to go to my car parked on the sidewalk and still receive 2 bars of wifi signal. Using the extender, wifi signal comes and goes, I am unable to use wifi in my front yard.The area I am trying to extend wifi to is only about 200sq ft away from the router. The wifi extender claims to cover 3,000sq ft.❓Not too sure if this is just a defect product or if the product isn’t of good quality?

While this extender was easy to install and was functional it did not work well in our home. It actually kept dropping the wifi and caused a number of issues with it actually providing an adequate extension of our wifi. I had purchased this to help connect wifi security cameras, however, the range on the extender did not pair with the cameras and they served no purpose. I chose to return this wifi extender because it kept dropping the wifi in the house from my devices and was more frustration and headache than function that I needed.

This extender greatly improved the WiFi location in a difficult spot on my property. I am pleased. But the set up instructions were among the worst I’ve seen. Not only was there a language translation problem, but also the sequence of steps was wrong. You need knowledge and experience in setting up routers and related WiFi devices to accomplish the installation of this extender.
