they looked beautiful, but when I lit them
This actually didn't work very well for me. Maybe I did it wrong, but I was trying to make candles with leftover wax from other candles, and needed wick. When I made the candles, they looked beautiful, but when I lit them, they didn't stay lit for long. I liked the small length that I could buy, but they weren't of any use to me since they didn't work.

Candle wicks
If you're a craft person they work, from a novice standpoint. I used these wicks to combine the left over wax from my old store bought candles.
