Dock Sock Sleeve Cover with Microfiber Backing for Nintendo Switch

I've had a Nintendo Switch since launch, and I've been extra careful with it. I have a screen protector, and case, and another carrying case for everything. I never played on TV mode, as there isn't a game I wanted to play,except for Mario Odyssey now. So I needed something that protects my Switch from the dock.I first heard about the covers when they first appeared on Etzy and I planned to get one. Yes it took months for me to finally decided, but I have one now. I like the design and definitely gives the dock a better look. GIves more personality to the whole console in general. The mircofiber perfectly protects my system from potential scratchges from the dock.I would have given this 5 starts, if it was possible I would have given it a 4.5. The only grievance I have is that its not easy to take off the switch from the dock. The cover makes it a tighter fit, which means it takes a little bit more effort. I have to hold the dock to be able to remove the Switch. I understand the cover is what made it, it's just a little aspect that bothers me.Overall i like the product and might buy more in the future to change the appearance, maybe a red Mario one if its ever available.

I wanted this to protect my Switch screen from getting damaged when docking it. I had noticed when I first got my Switch that some scuff marks were appearing on the sides of the screen, so at first I took a TV cleaning cloth and taped it in place on the inside of the dock, to protect the Switch screen. That worked well enough but it looked kind of ugly, so I decided to buy this after some research.I think this is a nice alternative to my makeshift solution. This slides on and off the dock without much effort but stays in place when removing the Switch from the dock, no tape required. It is not so thick that it makes removing the dock a problem. The part that is on the inside of the dock is a good soft material that protects the screen well. The picture on the outside part really spruces up the dock. I chose this one because I wanted something Zelda related but not with overly bright colors. Best of all I like the idea of supporting a small company with my business. I will definitely be buying another Dock Sock from them again if I buy a second dock for my other TV.

Great quality and fit, fits fine the new Oled model. Also the design is pretty unique.

Feels fantastic and looks great on my switch, I always felt the plastic base was pretty ugly and i'm happy with how it looks with this cover on. I wanted something pretty, but nothing too gaudy/ over-colorful as many designed switch covers are and when I found this one, knew it was perfect for me.Great intricate detail in the art too, and until Windwaker HD gets ported to switch (Fingers crossed for E3 2019!!) this is a great reminder of one of my favorite zelda titles!I did not have any issues with putting it on, or any difficulty in taking my switch in and out of the dock at all.

Nicely made, good tight fit. I was concerned about what I read online with some Nintendo Switch owners noticing scratches on their screens after placing them in the dock. I don't know if it's a widespread problem or not, but I didn't want to take a chance. If Nintendo releases a redesigned dock next year with a more open design, allowing the Switch screen to be fully visible when docked, we might have our answer then. It could also be that some Switch owners just placed their Switch units too quickly and hard into the dock. I usually take a good 10 seconds to insert/remove my Switch, even with the dock sock on. I don't want to scuff up the back of my Switch. I'll update if I notice anything, but so far, so good.Update: Over a month now, no problems.

This thing looks amazing, and will for sure keep your switch from getting all scratched up. I did NOT have that issue before, and I also had a glass screen protector on my switch, however, this looked way too cool to not have on the switch dock. If you do not have a screen protector, I would recommend possibly getting one of these, it looks good and for sure gives the switch a MUCH softer feel when docking and Un-docking it. I am worried, however, about it holding in some heat when playing some larger games like Mario cart since the switch does pump out some heat when playing that game, HOWEVER, with lots of play time already into that game with this on my dock, I don't think that will be a problem. 10 out of 10, This is a good buy.

I don't write reviews often, but this dock sleeve is EXACTLY what I wanted! It stylishly protects my Switch's screen while docking/undocking and transforms a boring hunk of plastic into a personalized piece of art for all of my friends to ogle at. The fit is snug, but not too tight that you can't slide it on/off when you want to (e.g. for cleaning, if you leave your dock collecting dust). Likewise, it doesn't budge when undocking the Switch console.For a few extra bucks compared to similar items, you get a high quality item that supports a real artist and protects your expensive gaming investments. If you're a Zelda fan, this is a must-have. I smile just looking at it. :D

The item is very good quality. The fit on the switch dock itself is excellent. However do be careful to fold the internal excess frabric at the seams to the front of the device as not doing so resulted in a tighter than acxeptable fit for the switch. Now I'm much happier with the fit. As for heat now it is still a concern but should be fine if you have adequate air flow which my setup does allow. If you're havinf issues with heat already I would opt for a screen protector instead as that shouldn't interfere with ambient heat dissipation. Updated from a 4 to 5 star review after refitting the sock 👍
