I love this coffee. I was looking for an organic coffee that was shade grown which contains antioxidants. This has truly changed my desire for “Bucks” and I was diehard. Taste is smooth, dark and the tones of chocolate swirl on your pallet. There’s a new bean in town! Thanks Camano Island!!

We order Sumatra Dark Roast - Whole Bean from Camano Island Coffee Roasters monthly. The coffee has generally been roasted 3 to 5 days before we receive it in the mail. Best Coffee! Fabulous company!

There are many good coffees out there but this one is certainly in my top five. My method of prep is French press, water to coffee of 17:1 by weight, and temperature of 95(c). The result is smooth, never bitter (even when I forgot about the coffee and left it in the press for 7 minutes.)

I am an avid coffee drinker and look forward to that first cup in the office every morning. Camano Island Sumatra Dark Roast Organic is the most delicious coffee I've ever tasted. I've been drinking it for over a year and will continue. What more can I say, I'm addicted. I use a French press and spring water to make a pure, full, robust cup of deliciousness.

Great coffee at a great price. I made the mistake of accepting a gift of a coffee purchased at a nationwide big box store & couldn't wait until my Jura Capresso unit finished the beans I filled it with. The freshness & taste of this blend are a welcome gift for my taste buds every morning. I've experimented with other blends - sometimes thinking more expensive meant better - to only come back to Camano Island's Organic Sumatra Dark Roast. I've learned a lesson. I have enjoyed this coffee for years and nothing else quite fills the bill for me. Full bodied, rich and roasted perfectly for my taste. I usually purchase it in the 5# bags. Great coffee from a wonderful small roaster.

This is a great cup of coffee. We get the Sumatra dark roast, and the fresh cup just poured out of the french press just sings. Love this coffee.
