Low Voltage Disconnect Module LVD, 12V 10A, Protect/Prolong Battery Life. Part number: D-1077/12V. Mount type: panel mount. Suitable battery: 12V. Rated current: 10A. To protect electronics from damaging low voltages and prevent a deep discharge of a battery during an extended power outage, the LVD module will automatically disconnect the battery when the voltage falls below the user adjustable cutoff voltage. When power is restored the Smart Switch will automatically reconnect the battery. thereby protecting the battery from total discharge (helping to prolong the life of the battery). Applications include: Solar systems, Alarm systems, UPS systems, Mobile systems, Or any application where you need to protect the battery from total discharge. Features: Programmable voltage setting for Disconnect and Reconnect. Red-green LED indication for relay switch ON and OFF. 10/30 Amp version selectable, 10A/30A power relay.

Works great
I bought these wanting to use them to shutoff the battery bank in a portable speaker build but didn't have the foresight to realize a relay operated cutoff with moving parts isn't the best idea for a vibrating speaker. Lucky for me they have a newer version of this board which uses mosfets instead, awesome. Ordered that one also. These boards are going to work great for something else in the future though, and they are very simple to use and program using the dip switches. Accurate and does what it's supposed to do. It should be noted that this will only cut the connection between your cells and your load, at which point the cells will still be connected to this circuit and drawing a very small amount of power. Over enough time that can still drain the battery too much but it shouldn't be a problem unless you're using a setup you'll simply forget about and never check on.

Effective Low-Voltage Protection for Solar Storage Battery
The controller battery for our solar hot water system, was under-charging on successive overcast days. I was concerned that if this was allowed to continue, it would lead to shortened storage battery life. This low-cost device had the perfect settings to disconnect the battery when it reached too low a voltage, when sun exposure was low and controller pump operation was not needed. Setup was very intuitive with disconnect and reconnect voltage selections. The attached photo was taken in my initial trials with the device mounted in an orange wide-mount pill bottle, with the black water pump in the foreground.

Worthless
I measured a quiescent current of 48 mA, which doesn't seem much, but is MUCH larger than the manufacturer reported value of 2 mA, or 0.7 Watts which is important when running a 9 Watt system on batteries! Also the relay switch flutters when near the connect/reconnect voltage- a very poor design!I purchased one of these a few years ago and tossed it for the same reason, I figured they had to have improve their design by now, but it seems to be the same; shame on me for not reviewing the reviews! This one is very similar CZH-Labs F-1000, which works well, but also has the same excessive current draw.

Price is great - but much needed design changes for improved safety factor
The price and quality is excellent. Here are some design improvements I wish it had:Make the board layout more dense to reduce the size.Put the LED on the load side and ditch the "red" light concept altogether. It is preferred not to consume battery to light the LED when the relay is switched off and supposed to be protecting from undervoltage.Add a jumper to optionally eliminate the LED battery consumption altogether.Use a latching relay latching so it doesn't add to the mA load on the battery reducing battery life.Another topic:I shorted the load by accident. It blew the coil of the relay. The spec is on the relay. It is non latching so you can get a pack of them for cheap.Just had to desolder and replace. Since I had one on hand it was just a five minute repair.

Accurate and good quality
I've purchased 3 of these now. Two were 12 volt and one 24 volt module. The dip switch settings are very accurate. I use one for controlled discharge when building lithium battery packs and also low voltage cut-off of these packs. Like most imported electronic items like this, I find the max amp ratings a little too optimistic. When using the module to control a load of 4.75 amps directly, it gets as warm (not hot) to the touch as I care to use it at. I'm sure the 10 amp rating is time limited and not continuous. That said, you can hook this to an appropriate relay to control nearly any load you want through the relay as the module load is only the relay coil.

MUST HAVE IN CUSTOM LIGHTS
If you putting strobes on vehicles , this is a must. It will save you from a dead battery when the strobes are on for awhile.

not switching. Will not purchase another.
Cannot get to operate at programmed voltages. LED will not change color at disconnected state. Will not buy again

Works well!
Seems to work very well, the voltage connects and disconnects very close to the settings according to my tests. I used the board to power a smaller relay that was already installed elsewhere which worked out ok. The only caveat was with the load from the circuit board relay removed, the circuit 'disconnect' setting is ignored and disconnect and reconnect voltage become very close together at the 'reconnect' setting. Was not a problem for me since my relay load was very small but just something to be aware of if you plan to use it this way.
